Also, a big part of buddism is to think about death. And rather than thinking about it being scary, just knowing that it’s inevitable so that we appreciate every moment we have and are more present. Thanks for reminding us 🙏
Re: "How do I become the type of person who..." One of the most helpful tools I've learned in therapy has been to be able to say, "I don't feel happy, calm, or hopeful right now, and that's okay. But what would someone who does feel happy, calm, and hopeful do about this situation?"
tbh, it is kind of broken and disturbing to encourage someone to make themselves into another person for someone else rather than to encourage them to be the best version of themselves. I get the metaphor, I just still think in its messed up. @@muchelleb
Death card in tarot doesn't actually mean death or that death is close, it means a new beginning or a fresh start depending on what other cards you pulled.
@muchelleb Different decks can be different but more than that all cards can be interpreted in a myriad ways depending on the context. *I* would argue that the core concept of the death card is endings (and endings do lead to new beginnings - like graduating from university: it's an ending that leads to something new). But ultimately tarot is not an exact science, it's an art of interpretation. The card could mean a lot of different things depending on the situation and how the cards are being used (like, are they just a tool for reflection or do you consider them to be advice from your spiritual guides? etc). Especially if you're using tarot mostly as a jumping off point for reflection I think considering your own mortality is a perfectly reasonable take-away. It's true that it's not usually about someone literally dying... but even that happens on occasion. (Not in the scary fortune-teller way people imagine when they're scared of the card, but I've definitely seen the death card come up in relation to literal death, like when someone was mourning the loss of someone)
Its always a highlight when I wake up in the morning and see that you uploaded a video! Everytime I make myself a cup of coffee and allow myself to go back to bed for another few minutes. I've done that for a few years now and it's one of my little magical moments in the week. Thank you so much! I learn a lot from your videos and lots of your ideas are integrated into my life💚 I think Ill skip the vision board this year and try the future self board. It really resonates with me! 💙
love this video! I immediately reviewed my vision board. thank you :) also, death in tarot is a symbol of new beginnings. What in your life do you want to let go of? x
Same! I love vision boards, every morning I spend time to put myself in the shoes of my highest self :) I also have a self improvement channel:) let’s grow together💪
The future self board is brilliant, I’m going through a little life pivot at the moment and it’s made me think about the things I need to do to attract different people into my life - as always, you’re a queen muchelle!
8:33 I find niceness interesting, valuable, & *attractive!* ; - ) 😍 While it's true that asking what traits align with our goals and developing the ones that resonate with us can be a win-win. So can NOT buying into the lie that we need to change to be worthy of romance or career success & instead noticing our natural strengths and playing to them! ❤"Get in where you fit in, go on and shine."
We all have natural strengths and gifts that we were blessed with, we just have to tap into that potential! Love it! I also have a self improvement channel:) let’s grow together💪
I loved this! I use Milanote for EVERYTHING! I have added so many pictures to it i had to get the pro version to keep up haha 😅 I use it as a yearly, monthly and weekly planner too! So each year has it's own board and there I have my vision board and word for the year and then each month has it's own board and word or theme and colors (January is light blue and light pink) and in there I put a list of all the events and dates happening for the month. I also make a mini vision board/mood board for the month and put outfit ideas, affirmations, and meal ideas. I usually go back and add in pics from my phone from the month too and it ends up looking like a little scrapboom page! Then I make weekly boards and break it down even further, add an affirmation graphic for each day, write what I'm grateful for, post links or pictures of the events for that week so I can visually see it all. I love it! I used to put to-do lists here too but I realize I wouldn't open it daily so I switched to the app Tick Tick for that 😊
Wait wait wait wait wait. The DEATH card in Tarot is the end of something... to make room for the new! I always thought it should have been called Rebirth or Phoenix. It's one of my favorite (and very positive, most of the time) card. Girl, time to leave and grieve what doesn't serve you and new things will come!
Omg my death card said that it was time to either face my impending death or contemplate my death!!! It was a scary card to pull tbh, I prefer this interpretation. Thank youu 💛
Loved this! Would be interested to know how you decide and set your goals? Especially professional or work goals. I was find setting realistic goals difficult and never know where to start!
Same girl! I love vision boards because of the energy I get knowing that my dreams are possible and they will happen! Just like yours! I also have a self improvement channel:) let’s grow together💪
In Thinking of others too- I really wanted to glean a lot from this but as it gets going, the talking is so fast and I couldn’t slow it down with settings on my TV. I was interested enough to go to my phone and adjust the speed. 🎉 There’s some people that may not have that opportunity or option to do that. After I listen to it on the phone I did subscribed😀😀💕 Please do not take this as a criticism; it’s only meant to help those who do not have the option to slow the speed down.
