Lists are the most flexible data structures in R. The list does not need to follow any data structure rules as in case of vectors, matrices or data frames. For e.g. in vectors all the elements must have same data type, for matrices, all the elements must have same data type and all the columns must be of same length. Such rules do not apply to lists.
Imagine a list as a giant container in which all the objects of different data types can be stored and retrieved. In this video, we will learn.
