How to create a multilingual website in Oxygen (Using the free Polylang Plugin!) 

Hey Stratos! That's a really helpful tutorial. I've just set up PolyLang on a local environment and plugged in DeepL to handle machine translations, and so far I'l impressed. The one thing I can't seem to get Polylang/DeepL to handle is blocks in Oxygen pages where I've set the page to "Make this full page editable in Gutenberg"

Hi, Stratos. I followed the steps of your video and I agree that using Polylang and Oxygen Builder you can create a professional multilingual website with easy way. The only problem that I face is with the Search Result Page. The Search Results Page template has 10 priority in Oxygen but only works with english and do not word with Greeks. What do you think that I have to do? Thanks for your valuable time.

What about if someone uses Woocommerce? then what plugin do you recommend for having a multi language site with oxygen? thank you for this video

Hi, I have a problem with translations. When i type different text in duplicate page it automatically changes the text on the default page. Do you have any advice, hot to fix the problem?

Hi Stratos! I'm facing lots of difficulties with Polylang free version 3.0.4 and Oxygen 3.7.1. My default language is EN, and my 2nd language is Bangla (BN) with no roman script. I followed your steps: 1- With + sign, create the duplicate of EN Home page. 2- Duplicate my Custom Field of Home page, rename fields and assigned it to BN Home page. 3a- Create the BN Top menu and insert the BN home page in it 3b- Create the Language selector menu (because my language switcher is in a div above the main menu on the home page) 4- With EN Header&Footer template, I insert the language selector menu in my top green div. 5- In Oxy templates, with + sign, I created the BN Header&Footer template. I edited this template by changing the menu from EN Top menu to BN Top menu (which only had the translated Home page) and translated the text of the CTA button next to my Top menu. Problem I see is: On the frontend, I see that the changes I made in the BN Header&Footer template are automatically being saved in the EN Header&Footer template as well. The language switcher is working in a sense that the URL is properly changing.... but the menu doesn't change language anymore. After editing the BN Header&Footer template (step 5), I noticed that some BN language in the shortcode of the EN Header&Footer template showed all the sudden in replacement of the English portion!!!! It should not be like that. What could be the reasons and how could I avoid this situation?

Hi Stratos, what is your opinion about translating the slug for getting good SEO? The free version of Polylang is not doing this. Is it really essential? Will it make a big difference? Also did you experiment with XPML + Oxygen and if yes, how was it compared to using Polylang?

GREAATT video ! I learned to do this all by myself and it made me kind of sick. Would you use WPML for Woocommerce?

I am thinking, duplicating the oxy template for both langs can be some how annoying. Especially when there is some update for the layout. Have you tried to do something like clone the default element inside the tempalte. Doing both langs sections in one template. Using condition. show the the Greek content only when the site in /gr/ English content only when /en/ . Possible?

Nice but WPML is much easier with their translations editor. Unfortuntely WPML + Oxygen is not a great team at this time.

What about a blog, is it easy to setup?
