Beautiful job! I have a tip to share. I use the bubble packaging I get from Amazon to put my brush in between coats. When I get a string of them from an Amazon, I trim off one side. Which creates a pocket for my paint brush. I then stuff them in an empty Kleenex box for easy access. I love you channel and have learned a lot thru you! Thank you!

I always chuckle when I see 2 knobs used like this. How hard is a trip to Home Depot or Walmart for normal sized pulls? They can be so inexpensive!

@@aok2727 I remember my first furniture project with handles. The holes weren't the standard space and there was no RU-vid, or HGTV to show me that I could fill the holes and drill new ones. I just had to reuse the original ones.

Really beautiful finish well done. I loved the original wood. Though I thought it gave a rustic look and would have been nice just adding a rustic wood stain to give it restorations hardware look

It is easy to do as long as your antique has no flaws i did it stripped it and will do it again as soon as my fourth coat of base coat dries i put on too much glaze it dried too dark

Word of experience not all antiques can be done in this finish mine had flaws on the oak drawers that looked terrible finished this way Im stripping it AGAIN.

You could try. Just make sure you’re using an oil based sealer over top of it too.
