Gracias Jorge. How can I change the name of the form when the person gets the invoice. We are paying for our JotForm, but it reads JotForm when they get it in their email. We want to have our company name.
Hi @ColoresLatinosTVshow, Doing that is easy. You just have to edit your Autoresponder where the invoice is attached then change the Sender Name in the Recipients tab. Let me show you how: 1. In Form Builder, click SETTINGS then select EMAILS in the left side. 2. In EMAILS, select the Autoresponder you want to edit by clicking on the pen icon. 3. In Autoresponder, go to RECIPIENTS to change the Sender Name. I am trying to create an invoice and send to a client via paypal invoicing and jotform. No issues. But the client has only a pdf invoice and email with no link for payment. How will they know where to pay? When I use paypal invoicing direct from paypal its clear as a link for payment is included.
Hello Steve, We tried PayPal Invoicing and it is working fine. When you submit the form, it should redirect to PayPal's invoice page where you need to continue with your payment. @@Jotform Thank you for the reply. I am clearly missing the point of this. I assumed invoicing means I can generate an invoice for a client and send it to them to pay. Clearly this is just a checkout and not a true invoicing experience for me to send to clients. I have set it up, linked it, generated an invoice and what arrives in the recipient in box is a pdf invoice with no payment link / portal. I can use paypal directly to send an invoice and it does send payment link information. The reason this seemed promising was that staff that does not have access to the company paypal account could generate an invoice. The integration actually does create the invoice in paypal, it just lacks the ability for the recipient to see a payment link/portal that would carry the invoice information id. That extra bit of integration would make it a true invoicing experience. That said the name paypal invoicing is somewhat misleading and has caused me some considerable time to finally realize it is not. The support portal has been going back and fourth with me on this and not one time did they mention what you did. So I thank you for that and suggest maybe they could incorporate the final bit in this integration to make it a true invoicing experience.

Hello Eric, You can also download and print your every invoice within the PDF Editor when you open your PDF invoice. To access the PDF Editor, edit your form in the form builder then navigate to the PDF Editor by clicking on the menu found in the upper left corner of the page right beside the Jotform logo then select PDF Editor or you can click this link www.jotform.com/pdf-editor/. I have a custom order business and each clients prices are different. They have submitted their order form. How do I send them an invoice with individual prices using their already submitted order form?
Hello Shauntae, That's possible by creating a PDF document out of the submissions you received. Then customize the PDF document to use it as an invoice. To send the invoice manually, add a Send Email action button in your form tables then attach the PDF document you created in the email. Hello Kayla, It's highly likely that the invoice ID tag on your PDF wasn't updated. To fix it, please delete the invoice ID tag on your PDF on the PDF Editor then re-add it from the Form Fields. Am I the only one completely confused by this? Why would you send the client a PDF invoice with no payment link? Am I missing the part of how the client pays for the invoice after they receive it? Where are the instructions for this scenario: 1) I make a form that I (business fill out) selecting products that the client wanted to purchase 2) I submit the form entry with the details of the customer 3) The customer gets an invoice with a link for how to pay it.
Hi @shanaanderson6579, Customers are required to complete the payment via the form prior to submission. Upon successful payment, they will receive an email containing the invoice. To further clarify, the form in the video tutorial is integrated with a PayPal Personal payment tool. When a form is submitted, users are redirected to the PayPal checkout page to finalize their purchase. Other payment tools such as Stripe or PayPal Business requires users to input credit card details directly into the form. Upon submission, the entered payment details are securely transmitted to the chosen payment gateway's API for payment process.
