Lordy have I looked for that illusive white pen!! Yes! I love a NEW white gel pen but they can be so frustrating so your tip of gesso is welcome. That gold is fab! Lovely work!
I used to do such drawings with Rapidograph-pens in my photography school in art classes only on white paper. I love those Golden Fluid acrylic paints. Thanks for this video and the wonderful drawing.
Hi Ann ☺️ I wasn't familiar with rapidograph pens so I looked them up! Looks like they would work great on watercolor paper and I love how they come in extra fine tips. Thanks for mentioning them to me! I'm also a fan of Golden paints in general because they offer great pigmentation. Thank you for making the time to watch and comment ❤️

I don't know if Kremer Pigments sell in Australia just yet 🤞. If they don't, hopefully you can find something similar. I know there are companies creating beautiful iridescent pigments (at least for resin art) in your country so hopefully there are good watercolor options too ☺️ Happy creating 🎨

Oh! I also wanted to share that I was talking with a representative at an art store today, and she recommended a book to me about intuitive painting. I have never heard of it. Now, tonight, I stumbled across your video. That is wild! I just now made the connection. I’ve been having a lot of health issues, and I’m wondering if I am supposed to look further into intuitive painting. It seems like a message to me!
I’m smiling big 😁 I use and intuitive process in almost everything I do ❤️ I’m sorry you are experiencing health issues. I have contended with migraines and headaches for many years now. Art helps me stay centered on the here and now without focusing on my pain. In this way, it is very much a therapy for me and I hope creativity can help you in some way also. Like you, I think everything happens for a reason even if sometimes it doesn’t seem so easy to understand that reason. ❤️✨ I haven’t read any books on intuitive painting, but I do love to read and I’m curious about the book that was recommended to you. I love the colors you used in this one especially the green, blue and turquoise; the gold goes well with them too! 😉🌟 I've been wondering, what is the difference between your micro mini brushes and like a #1 or 2 round brush? When you use them they look so nice, and I've been tempted to buy some. But do I need them? 🤷♀️😂 How is Garou liking his new home? He did blend in with your studio floor! Lol. Have a blessed week! 💕
Hi Lori ❤️ Thank you so much! Yes, it is so good to have my studio all set up and I’m all full of creative energy✨🥰 Garou seems to be is happy little self here too. But, we are in a more developed neighborhood so he is more on leash here than he used to be in Vermont. 😔 Maybe that bothers me more than it does him. I don’t know. We hope to have a fenced in area for him to roam off leash soon. ☺️ About the brushes, well, I think for me it had boiled down to a cost thing. I wanted mini brushes but I was thinking the ones I was finding to be quite expensive. Then I found this micro mini brush set with multiple brushes for what I considered a good price and I decided to give them a go. I love them! But, if you already have mini brushes you know and love, you probably don’t need the micro minis I use. 😉 I paint with watercolors, acrylics, oils and so much more. I don’t always stick to using tools as they are meant to be used and it sort of works for me. I only say this because art supplies can be pretty expensive so I’m always looking for inexpensive sets I can use across multiple mediums. I appreciate you wanting to share yours with me too. I feel so blessed and fortunate to have this space. 🥰 Every place I have been able to create has been very dear to me. The image of Christ on the cross is always a sad one to me and in it also is a symbol of what I consider true unconditional love. I love your work, but I try to work along with you, and for me, you’re running commentary is distracting. Do you have other videos where you just have music and I could follow along. You are a lovely person. This is only my preference.

I can understand your preference for working with just music and so I wonder if you could provide this for yourself by muting the sound on my videos and playing gentle music you enjoy, in your own space.
