Could you showcase something that involves changing skyboxes like day/night cycle and wind effects to see if we can get anything like the 2018 infinite reveal
Can we make vehicles move on its own? Could we have an equipment spawn one of these vehicles? Could we attach teleporters to this vehicle being spawned so that if it hits someone, they get teleported into a kill zone?
DUDE. I use UE4 and code in entirely blueprints and am making a fast paced arena FPS. I have been waiting to get my hands on Forge's node system so I can make some INSANE things. Can't wait!!!!
If we have the right stuff could we potentially recreate classic Halo 3 equipment? Like the bubble shield or the power drain? Would it be possible to edit the electricity kill ball to mimic the properties of Halo 3's power drain? I would love to see how intricate this node system is. If we can replicate features from other games like health packs or Halo 3 equipment we have the ability to mold custom games however we want. This could be one of the most powerful in-game editing kit in gaming.
From the video it looks like the custom power up just changes your player settings like your weapons, shields, health, ammo, movement, etc. If preexisting equipment can be edited the threat sensor would be so versatile because you could shoot out a power drain or a landmine
@@Areeb118 no I mean with enough trickery and a lot of branching strings we could make conditions that turn something like the dynamo grenade only effect shields as well as work as an emp. Maybe we could attach a non lethal kill ball to it that expands and ends with an explosion. We haven’t seen anything super complicated yet so I’m just throwing out ideas.
it could be possible to make a bubble. Something like, on activate > spawn some sort of custom made bubble @ player location > despawn after 20 seconds etc
make: a double jump jet pack by holding jump add crazy effects to what you shoot at make a warthog fly like a plane when you hit fast speeeds and turn in the air
I just wanna tell you thank you so much for providing the whole community of Halo this type of information that we desperately need and desperate times like this.! You’re getting me so hyped up for four you do not understand I never really been a forger but I will definitely soon. I pledge myself to your teachings lol
Would it be possible to do something like teleporting another player to your location after shooting them with either a gun or perhaps a threat sensor?
So, have options been removed in the public release of forge? I can't seem to find the options to set weapon magazine ammo or reserve ammo anywhere at all.
Omg, does this mean we could use either the overshield or active camo and create the custom power up, from 3? I hope so, so many Halo 3 modes relied on the custom power up, it would be great to see classic fat kid, Duck Hunt and Ice cream man return, once we get infection
Is it possible to place a zone in Forge, customize the shape/size of zone, and then script an event to happen if you walk in the zone? or trigger an event if you get killed while in the zone?
Can a teleporter be destroyed? I'm thinking of a BF Rush style BTB were attackers use teleporters to push the front line forward while defenders destroy the teleporters to keep attackers spawning further back.
That should be possible in the game mode options just by turning damage up, but per weapon modifications should be possible judging from other leaked content. It looks like you'll be able to change the projectiles and stuff per weapon, so it should be safe to assume you can change damage values per weapon
@@capnc4ke yeah but then every weapon turns into a nuclear machine, and the problem is that the rate of fire is still too high, og magnum was a bullet per second, now with the sidekick you can shoot as fast as your finger can tap the trigger. I was wondering if you can, for example, make an automatic pulse carbine or make the bulldog work like the og shotty, that would be amazing for remakes. For what I’ve seen you can make the mangler shoot like the mauler by just combining the weapon with the bulldog in the nodes. I’ve been fooling around a lot with customs lol, everything is faster in infinite, straffing speed, gravity, movement, animations, etc.
@@ReclaimerSnake Yeah. I would like to assume you'll be able to change fire rate, and that's a pretty trivial piece of weapon customization. From what I remember you can, so you should be able to slow down the fire rate of the sidekick.
possibly, depending on what abilities there are built in to Infinite, and what nodes they have. But things like damage and speed boosts should be possible (never played Destiny btw)
More likely you could use this to change the attributes of weapons and items in the game.. Like making the sword shoot any type of round or energy in the game.. I suppose you could just make a sword really tiny so you cant see yourself holding it then give it the attributes of the shock rifle so it looks like you shoot lightning from your fists when you use it. heck maybe its even powerful enough of a tool to change the way your melee works so you can just pickup that power just like the over shield pickup..
Honestly the possibilities are endless. There is probably an invincible node that can be tied to a timer and there you go. Maybe even change the player's vision if that's possible
@@gatolouco9328 You could also have a copy of the map and when you activate it, it teleports you to the copy of the map. Halo 5 had a very similar game mode, and was actually pretty fun.
The portal part might be possible, however seeing through the portals I don't see as possible. Unless they have a very specific node and material for it.
@@nathan4243 Hmm, well considering that the campaign teleporters teleport nades and rockets, those should be safe. But I'm not sure about shooting. Infinite uses projectiles for it's kinetic weapons, so in theory it should be possible. if it were hitscan it'd be alot harder. Also just being able to shoot and place portals would be decently difficult but assuming they have the right nodes shouldn't be too hard. It's something I'd be interested in trying to make once forge fully releases
It's actually not that hard. If you just think about what you want, it's pretty easy. In this case he thought "When this equipment is used set the magazine amount to 15" so he got 3 nodes. On equipment used, get player weapon, and set weapon magazine ammo". boom easy
