I play on excel as hobby and self taught made a similar dashboard. I even removed pivot tables to use regular tables and charts with VBA macro to resize and change colours so it’s dynamic like a pivot chart. I’m a pipe fitter and play on excel on the weekend. So if this is advanced, yikes lol I think I should switch careers

I wish I had come across this vlog when I was going for my interview 2 days ago! I used another website and they gave me the basics of doing pivot and pie charts, you just dont get the little bits that you need like him naming the data table, I was going to have an interview to work in the criminal justice system and their data is complicated but if this system was used it would have been so easy to work with. As they say never too late for anything, so glad I have come across his site. It just means that I am now more professional than most people. Thanks Bro

Btw, you could go to the View tab and untick: "Headings, Formula Bar & Gridlines", And then go to the Ribbon Display Options on the top-right (left to the minimize option) and select Auto-Hide, So it will go full screen... So it looks much nicer...

Can you make a guide on how to make a GUI interface in excel. Like, you press a button and it opens up an interface with a lot of different options with drop-down menus, checkboxes etc. For example: A button that says "Buy now" it opens up a gui window or whatever you call it. There are multiple options, there are checkboxes that you can check and there are drop down menus with several different options that you can choose from. When you have checked everything and filled in everything, you press Done and it saves that information on a row with all that information. Thanks for the great guides.

Thanks so much for putting this tutorial together, it fantastic! I put together a similar one from your instruction but I'm having trouble with the mapping chart. When I use the slicer for the pivot table to filter the territories it only updates the original pivot table but not the data referencing the pivot table that the map is using. I've followed everything you had done but this one piece is really causing me some difficulty. Any idea what might be causing this? Thanks again!

The map chart I am using in this tutorial is only included in the latest Office versions (Office 365 or Office 2019). Or just use Power Bi as it's specifically made by MS for this purpose and more intuitive.

Just a heads up, your download templates part doesn't function. You have to sign-up with your email, but the verification email never comes through (I checked junk).
