This is a two in one, not only does it teach you how to do makeup in PS really well, it also shows the basics of how to do makeup in real life! Keep up the good work Aaron ;)
Episode idea: I'd like to see a comparison of different sharpening techniques and some advice about the difference between sharpening for prints vs screen.
I just want to say this this Is the most useful, realistic tutorial I've come across in a long time, and that's saying a lot considering I'm teaching myself Photoshop inside out by watching tutorials for several hours per day. You've earned yourself another subscriber!
I want to start by saying thank you. I have been a "casual user" of Photoshop since v2.0, preferred over MS Paint at the time. I have Phlearned more from your videos in the past few months than I have in years. Your model examples are much nicer than what I am now presented to work with, though. I don't know how to upload an example to you here. Let's just say that I am sent photos of 40+ year old ladies who want to look 25, and their makeup is a train wreck and they want to take off a great deal of weight. I need to apply everything you teach to each photo. I am still phlearning, but thanks to you, the phlearning curve is shorter.
Brilliant, I was watching this for the eye makeup, and also learned a much better technique for contouring the cheekbone (rather than dodge and burn). Thanks very much.
"So today, I'm gonna teach you guys how to make some make up in Photoshop. No I'm not just gonna grab a brush and *hgkjsdfh* on the picture and say that's eye makeup". I had to play that part like 12 times because it was so hilarious! Thanks you for this tutorial!
***** I'm sure you do!!! I like to give compliments!!! I learned photoshop just from "Phlearn" and today I assist my teacher at photography lesson to teach students photoshop!!! Just because of you! so, Thank you very much
Hey Phlearnians! Could you teach an episode on how to add rain to your shot? As in, make it look like its raining? Multiple times ive had to shoot when there puddles of water everywhere but its not actually raining. Is there a way to give that effect?
Really love this tutorial! I'm very happy I've happened to see one of your tutorials and subscribed for the channel, because you do the best tutorials I've ever seen... Everything is really easy to understand!
***** Don't shave your beard (just watched through your earlier tutorials... it suits you better with beard))). If seriously, it will take time to look through all of your tutorials before I could suggest something...
Thanks as always, Aaron! Could you give us some tips on how to clean up dirty feet in Photoshop? No matter how much wiping or cleaning is done, some feet look stained in photos I take, and I haven't found a good technique to clean them in post yet. Thanks again for all the great content!
i really like your tutorials and it's easy to understand. can you please make another tutorials for wedding makeup? thank you and God Bless...oh your mother is pretty!
Idea for next episode: Can you teach me how to create nice creative "car-rig" style motion-blur on a car shot, or nice light-painting technique with lots of flash shots on a stationary car? THANKS! ^.^
Hi, thanks for yet another great tutorial. I would like to know what is the computer pen and pad equipment that you are using? I would like to get one as well. It seems to make photoshop process so much more intuitive and easy.
Great tutorial as always! I would like to see a tutorial on how to remove makeup in photoshop, like taking a model with a full face of makeup and making her look like she doesn't have any makeup on.
You guys should do something for young talents sometime, like an age limited contest or something like that! I know there are some amazing young photographers out there!
Thank you sooooo much, this was soo helpful! Will you please make a tutorial on how to enhance photos taken in Snow? Where snow is dominant in the photo around the subject?
Teach us how to make a better rainbow color on hair or in smoke :) And talk a little more about the different composition crops on photoshop (rule of thirds, grid, diagonal, triangle, golden ratio and golden spiral) Keep up with the good work I ♥ Phlearn
What about a tutorial on ways to make eyes look more similar; for example: to correct or minimize the look of a droopy eye, or to open up an eye that is partially closed. I would also love to see a video on correcting glare from eyeglasses.
good stuff, could you do a extensive tutorial on light in photomanipulation , i want to know all about light-shadows,cuz i often look at my work after 10 days and say lightning is not okey, or it is to plain...
Hey Aaron, love the podcasts. I think you like to be challenged so I am throwing this out at you. I have seen a few tutorials on RU-vid on how to make a personal look metallic but they were not very good tutorials hopefully you can figure out a method I might be able to use for a concept without actually photographing someone with silver paint on. Good Luck & Thanks!
Hi, guys awesome tutorial! Keep up the great work... I'm working on this at the moment on photoshop elements 12. I can't find the download brushes after i open the download file with photoshop , even when i press the B key and right click. I'm seeing some brushes but unfortunately not the eyelash brushes :( Can you anyone please help me? Thank you very much!
Hi Aaron! I'm sure you've heard this tons of times but I've learned sooooooooo much from your tutorials and you're so great at explaining things!!! Overtime I need help on editing with photoshop I always turn to you and usually find what I need in your tutorials. I was wondering if you could do a video of creating texture to an old picture such as hair, eyes, etc..... I sometimes color black and white picture which I don't have much of a problem with but restoring texture has always been a challenge. I do manage but was wondering if you knew of a quicker way. I really appreciate your help tremendously Aaron! :D
