This was a fantastic video! I was wondering what I could do to make a professional thermal report after receiving my M30T and this seems to fit all my needs. Thank you for the review!😊
Hi there. Thank you so much for this brief, wonderful video. My question is, when capturing a thermal image from a target with very different emissivity levels (e.g., gravel vs. concrete), how could we decide to set the value in the parameters section? Thank you very much, and I would appreciate hearing your response.
Hi, we are working on a online training course to help students with this. However, there are several online resources that are free and give you the emissivity level for different materials.
@@FowadoUS Thank you very much for your reply. Could you please let me know the details of your upcoming courses? Also, I would appreciate it if you could share the links to online resources. Thank you
Thanks for the great intro video to this software. I'm using an Enterprise 3 thermal - can you recommend a good way to stitch thermal images from an Enterprise 3 T that i can then put into this Analysis software?
I wonder how accurate the 3T is below the -20 Celsius. I wait till the weather is -15 or higher but the snow is colder and sometimes I get -23 or -40 at the same point within 10 minutes. I like the 3T very much but I'not sure it is good enough for the winter.
Hi, thanks for the video. Are there any plans to make the reporting more useful? Will they be adding a method to compare two spots on the same picture like the Delta feature in Flir Thermal Studio?
Hi Roger, DJI is constantly improving this tool, at the moment there is no word on this, but expect more versions in the near future with more features.
Unfortunately you did not show how to manage RGB images when we take photos with dual camera. I guess RGB picture shall be included in the report if needed.
Is the water tower only an example, or is there actual utility in doing thermal analysis of such? Is this really a thing in the business? If so, how is it used?
In this demonstration, the water tower is only an example. However, Thermography itself is a booming business used mostly for inspection type work. Solar panels, moisture detection, infrastructure inspection, the list goes on.
Unfortunately not. The Laser ranger finder definitely helps when it comes to the distance to object parameter, but the emissivity of an object and reflected temperatures are things you just have to learn and plug in accordingly.
Hello, unfortunately there is no exact way to measure the distance with the M2EA. Essentially you need to have a good understanding of your environment and the drones relative distance from the structure your inspecting. Hope that helps!
We are currently developing an online training, please subscribe to our channel to get the updates in when that will be available. Currently the only available classes are in person.
Hi thanks for ur video but is there an easier way when you have over 300 images or do you have to do this one by one which is really time consuming. Thanks
Hi Ali, There are completely different approaches for delivering your data but this video is only intended for DJI Thermal Analysis Tool 3 users. Something to keep in mind is that the more images you have, the more work that needs to be performed so this should affect your pricing to your customer. What type of infrastructure are you inspecting?
