I'm sad because there are a lot of videos from scammers pretending to teach you how to make a more cinematic look but what they teach you is just to buy their Lut's with thousands of views, and then the GOOD ones like this barely has 6k. Hats off to you, first video I see from you and I loved it.
I use Lightroom preset all the time and I knew it was something very simular but never took the time to learn it. It only took 7 minutes of my time to confirm this thanks to your vid.
I really love the color grading colors in your work!! . Currently, I'm flying an FPV drone and using a GoPro Hero 6, but I'm not happy with the colors. I'm interested in color grading, but as a student, it's quite challenging for me. However, thanks to the clear explanation in the video, I feel like I can create LUTs more easily. It would be great if you could also explain how to extract my own LUT files in Premiere Pro next time. Thank you.
Love the video and the humor, thanks @That Icelandic Guy.! Question. When I export my LUT and import it (even on the exact, raw clip) it looks totally different. Like, really different. Any idea what is happening because I'm pulling out my hair...
Great tutorial. Very simple and straightforward. The question I have is what if the different clips need slight adjustments? One adjustment layer is insufficient. Do you add a different adjustment layer to each clip and apply your LUT as a starting point? Than you!
it should be in the side link of the youtube video but if you didnt find it i put it below ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-wMKq8DWxiGs.html
I have a moderate background in photography and am just getting into color grading of my drone footage. In order to get an accurate "Golden Hour" color LUT, can I take a large grey card and expose it in natural "Golden Hour " light and then create a lut from it? Thanks
I followed your guide perfectly and Created a LUT .cube file. I applied the colors to an adjustment layer instead of the clip. I created the LUT from an adjustment layer with the desired changes. When I apply the newly created LUT to a new adjustment layer on a new clip the color does not look as it does in the original. What did I do wrong?
This is an issue I currently have as well. If I export as a .look then it works perfect, but it seems when I export as a .cube it leaves out my color curve adjustments
I actually create the base of my luts in Lightroom then I add themto premiere and do final adjustments, love the color wheels there and export them there to the .cube files that I use :)
