Enjoyed your tutorial. I am working on my own pattern and became confused on how to do the arm hole openings. I was using my dress form to gauge the placement of the markers but i ran into some issues. I had not considered using a shirt as a guide. Such a simple solution. Thank you. BTW there are not many tutorials on crocheting a circle vest or jacket. So your video is greatly appreciated!! The other tutorials start with a circle then convert it into a square. To me that is not a circle vest. Anyway, thank you again!!

i am currently attempting to make this with worsted weight AND baby yarn. (I've double stranded he baby yarn to get the same thickness as the worsted weight), and it's coming together very nicely so far! ty. by row ten, I tired of the repetitive pattern. lol. so I spiced things up a bit and free styled for a few rows. then went back to the look of the pattern. I'm so close to begin the opening for my arms. I'm on row 24. I think I will have to do more than 29 rows, before I begin the sleeve opening, due to being larger. but tysvm for the guidance.

It seems there is a misstake in the pattern. In round 12 I read 'skip 3 st', that's wrong. That should be 'skip 2 st'.

I have a couple of questions 1 how many skeins of yarn are needed, 2 what size will this fit? My daughter is a large where can I find the written pattern so I know how to adjust stitches? Thank you.

Hi,thanks for your awsome patterns and a great tutorial.just there is one mistake in your written pattern during the video. in round 12 you say to skip 2 stitches but there is written to skip 3. at first ia have just written your patttern out and crocheted according to it and it started to wave and get smaller than i have listened and changed it. Could you please change it for others who also want to follow your pattern? thanks a lot :)

I love the way your jacket turned out, but I was wondering if I could do a more simpler version, such as only doing double crochet for the whole thing and making a simple circle without the lace look. Would that work? Or would I need to do more different stitches, such as alternating between rows of different stitches?

Beautiful jacket, however this was the most confusing instructions I've ever had to endure and I'm a advanced crochet person. Ugh I gave up and did my own thing!

I haven't forgotten about the picture I told you I would post of this jacket, I had to start all over because the yarn I used on the first jacket was to soft, and it kept curling up and it didn't look right. I will still post the picture of this jacket it looks better already.

I tried to follow your instruction to change into 3dc + 2dc , mine turn out like a bowl. It is not flat as I did using 3dc+4dc in the chains. So, is it possible to continue my work using the previous pattern?

i've made the circular jacket and it's too long for me, any shorter and it wouldn't fit around me. everything is done by measurements and when i put it on it starts to fall off around my shoulders what do i need to do to make that part stop?
