How to Crochet a Heart for Beginners I Step by step tutorial

Thank you so much for this. I learned to crochet long before magic circles, and my old arthritic fingers just are not going to learn how to do that. I had pretty much given up on my idea of adding crocheted hearts to some lap robe I'm knitting for our residents here at our facility, but when I read what everyone else said, I thought I would give it a shot. And I did it! I look forward to adding these hearts to my lap robes.

Thanks, this is the most helpful heart tutorial for me so far to understand. Also I've been crocheting this for 1 day and a lot of hours, but i still can't get it. I think I've been doing this for the 30th time today, it always failed my mom and my sister and my aunt that they are seeing me always doing crocheting but I don't finish anything, it's because i just started crocheting today. I just got my hook last 2 days ago 😂. Also my tension is too bad, the first round and the first 4tr, the chains are getting lost lol, when i first made the first tr, it came out as the video but when i do the second one after it which is my 2ndtr, it's not the same anymore, I'm so confused why my chains are getting in another direction. Also as i crochet the tr in the first round, I can't balance my hook and I can't pull or enter my hook in the hole lmao. I'll try this again tomorrow 😂😭. Thanks for making this vid, i love it. On the 2nd row after chain 5, do you go into the 4th chain? I read where you said the first triple chain, but I don’t know how to see that. I usually count the chains. When you say sc2, is that sc two times in the same space?

I was following fine until you threaded through the holes, and then didn't show which ones you were using so, i then couldn't follow and it got all messed up. Probably good to show where you are putting the needle after the tr stitches.

I’m lost on round 2. After chaining 5,you thread into a chain on the left side of the heart….you didn’t say which chain you went into 😢

The only problem I had was my yarn decided to be a jerk and tangle itself into a knot. So I had to cut it, and I cut the wrong string😑. So now I have to start over😭😭😭
