I just finished my cow!! I used black instead of purple and used yellow for the horns, thanh you so much for this tutorial it was so understanding and super easy thank you!!! ❤❤❤
First time crocheting a stuffy. The video was easy to understand , though some parts I was confused but it’s expected for a newbie. My cow turned out lopsided 😂😅 but my 2yo loves it. Thanks ❤
omg I love ittt, I tried to do it for my friends birthday and it turned out awesome!!! I did a nametag aswell and named it after her crush so she can cuddle with it LOL
I was looking for small, fast market makes and found this tutorial! Thank you for putting the directions at the top so I could just fast forward through. I'm almost done with it, and it's cute! I kinda don't love how my stitching down the head went, but I'm hopeful that the snout will cover anything in the neck area that looks weird lol THANK YOU!
I made one yesterday and it turned out so cute! I love it and I am making another one right now because it’s so cute! I didn’t have the right colors, so I made it gray-blue and coral pink then I went to the grape backpack vid but the grape didn’t really match the colors that I had so I had to make my own bag, but it turned out so adorable and definitely worth making. It was also really easy to follow because there were directions on the top for each row and mine came out much better than I expected. This is very beginner friendly and I enjoyed it a lot. Thank you for the videos!
@@Big.dupe. This is a great pattern but might be a little advanced to start with because of all the sewing. Maybe try something easier and no sew, like an octo! Good luck!
For the feet, it’s important to not fasten off the second foot because you continue on with it by working the first foot in to start the body if that makes sense ☺️
This took me around an hour and 40 minutes and my cow did turn out a little wonky, but I am a fairly new crocheter and he still tuned out super cute! I will now be making spams of him 😂
So you would want to insert under the v! I'm not the best at verbally explaining things, but there are tons and tons of awesome beginner tutorial videos here on youtube that can help you out!🥰
hi reigning charmz! this is a great tutorial. just wondering..my body started to close in so the hole became smaller and i couldn't make a head. is this because i inc incorrectly? ty
@@Big.dupe. the mini bee pattern might be easier! When I switch colors in the mini bee pattern video, you can just ignore the jogless join if it’s too confusing and just join the colors like normal, where you just make the last single crochet with color A, but don’t finish it. Yarn over color B and pull that thru the two loops of color A to finish the single crochet and then just keep going as normal☺️ I hope that makes sense!
You can pull on the loop your hook is in to make it looser and if it’s too lose than pull on the yarn that’s coming out of the ball. Don’t worry, it’s takes practice to master.
That might be because of your tension. If you hold it tighter when crocheting, it'll get harder to get the hook through. Try to maintain constant tension and that should help ☺
I’m a beginner and I am really terrible. I do not know how to do anything. All I know is how to 2 rows or something and I got this new yarn yesterday and it’s really hard to do everything I can.
If it’s a bigger weight than what I used, then I would definitely go up on the hook size. The cow will come out bigger, but it’ll be much easier to use the yarn. Maybe try an 8 or 9mm hook or the recommended hook size on your yarn☺️
I absolutely could not follow your shaping of the head. All of my stitches were visible and it looked like Frankenstein. I pulled it out and left the cow without it.
I’m sorry! I know it was a tad confusing. It definitely isn’t an integral part of the pattern, but it does help with the shape if you prefer the head and neck not to look so long. If you like it without it though, then that is fine too!
When I clicked on this video and saw there’s not written pattern I was so mad. Please can you write out the pattern because im not a beginner and I like a Witten out pattern better.
Hello! So I write what's happening with each row in the top left of the screen. I also have a written pattern on my instagram page, and the link to the page is on my youtube page :)
Well this took me around... let's see: magic ring for first foot 2 hours Magic ring for second foot 1 hour (yay) Body 1 hour Head 4 hours Ears hours (per ear) Arms 1 hour Nose 1 hour Horns 30 minutes
This was an AMAZING tutorial! I've been learning how to crochet about 2 weeks now and just made this. It took about 2 hours for since I'm still learning basics, but this was so easy to follow. 😊
Sorry, I tried doing it but 😂 no success😢 he looks like an alien 👽. Thanks though. Could you do one with sewing ? It would be a little easier for me. Thanks😊
Karis thank you soo much for this pattern, i just finished mine today. Never made anything like this before. And im so obsessed. Very easy to follow. 😊
I love how cute mine turned out! I just added a tail right after joining the legs! Chained 5 and loosely slipped stitched back to continue the next row! Then added colour to the tip! I will have to hid this or my daughter will steal it!! Thank you so much! 🧶💚😺
well I don't know how but I think I've already fcked up somewhere? one leg turned out bigger than the other, they are also in a way that one is facing forwards so that you can't see where you changed colors, and the other one faces backwards, also it was really hard for me to follow the part where you saw the legs together, I accidentally cut off wrong ends, I might have needed a bit more explanation/slower movements on that :( the magic ring was very good tho, this was the first tutorial I actually understood haha I'll update once I'm finished with it, we'll see how it turns out
@@Fluffyteddybears_1plays yes haha, I forgot to update (thanks for reminding me) but it kinda turned out great, although a little lopsided, but it's my first ever cow after all so it's fine :)
I'm sorry about the confusion! Thank you so much for the feedback, though. I'm a bit newer to making tutorials, so thank you for providing feedback ☺ For the legs, what may help is to attach them where you did the last stitch. Not sure if that helped or not, (I'm not the best at explaining without a visual haha) You can also try attaching them with a slip stitch instead of a single crochet, and then start the single crochets. As long as you have 16 stitches at the end, it will still work out. So whatever works for you! And I'm glad the magic ring was easy to follow!☺
I just finished this and it’s so cute!! 🥰 As someone who has only been crosheting for 1 week, this was so easy to follow! Of course I did get a little frustrated at times but it turned out great! And I didn’t have bulky yarn so I did it with medium yarn and it’s tiny so it makes it cuter! Tysm for this tutorial ❤
eee tysm! I just started but I can tell its gonna be cayute :D And I'm making this with normal yarn (i dont have chunky yarn) so it's gonna be tiny and cute
That head shaping is nonsense just adjust the stitches and rows properly so you don’t have to go back and SEW it. I call this damage control when you realize you made a mistake That was just silly! And I wouldn’t really call this low sew.
It’ll be bigger if you used a bigger hook, thicker yarn, or looser tension, and that’s okay! And you can go in with another string of yarn to pull the head down even further if needed ☺️
Yeah, sometimes the velvet yarn can be quite the pain. I’ve found that when it comes to pulling the tails in magic rings with velvet yarn, it’s best to crochet really loose stitches so that you can actually pull the tail to close the gap rather than just pulling the fuzz off the string and getting no where
WHY IS THIS SOO FRUSTRATING WTH THIS AINT GONNA WORK IVE BEEN CRYING FLR AN HOUR I DONT KNOW HOW TO DO THE PART WHERE U HAVE TO THE HOLE IDK WHAT IT IS
I can't get past the magic ring. I do the 4 stitches through the ring but when I try to do the first row I always have more than 4 stitches. Can not figure it out 😭
I went to Walmart and bought a cheaper, less fluffy yard to practice with and was able to do it! Don't give up. This is the easier video I have found so far! So glad I kept trying!
