---------------
Crochet Chunky Slippers
Yarn : Bernat Blanket super bulky #6
Hook : 7.00mm
Magic ring / loose knot
Round 1: chain 1, 8 sc, slip sts
Round 2: chain 1, *1 sc, 2 sc next sts*, repeat * 4x. Slip sts (12 sts)
Round 3: chain 1, *2 sc, 2 sc next sts*, repeat * 4x. Slip sts (16 sts)
Round 4-10: chain 1, 16 sc, slip sts
Row 11: slip 4 sts, chain 1, turn work, 12 sc
Row 12: chain 1, turn work, 2 sc in first sts, 10 sc, 2 sc (14 sts)
Row 13-17: chain 1, turn work, 14 sc
close the heel - fold heel in half and close heel by slip stitch both sides
slip stitch all the way back up
make 20 sts around the opening : chain 1, 8 hdc, 4 sc, 8 hdc, slip sts.
Chain 1 to secure stitches and cut yarn, weave in end.. DONE

Am a size 10 and I used and 8 MM crochet hook and from row 13 she stops at 17 , I kept going to 19. I wanted mine a little higher upso the last step I did 3 rows. Turned out really nice. If you want a bigger size use a bigger hook if you wanted smaller go down a hook size or 2. Thank you so much for your tutorial easiest one I found and you explain it very good am a biggener and had no problem.

With the thickness, for smaller sizes, it’s simple. Just adjust #of rows from to to heel for ur size. Use 7.

Oh wow. That was super easy.& super fast. Your video & written instructions are very easy to understand. My daughter is going to love them, they’re for her 47th birthday. I’m making them to match an afghan that I made her in a variegated yarn of purples. Thank you so much for showing me how to make these adorable slippers. I just taught myself how to crochet by pulling up RU-vid channels. I had one that show you how to do slippers but she went too fast and have way too many steps did I didn't really feel comfortable with. So I went back out on RU-vid to see if someone else was showing them and I saw yours. It was super easy to follow you because took your time and being able to watch you I could follow your steps. So as a beginner these were perfect for my first project. But the problem was that I started making them with the needle and yarn that I had. So when I finish they would the size of a baby's foot, hahaha. But I really just wanted to practice see if I can do it. So next time I will get the right needle and yarn and try again. Thank you

I needed this! I have the chunky Yarn Crate wool from this month’s crate and think it makes the most sense to use itchy wool in slippers and should keep feet really warm.

Your set up is amazing. I was watching video and scrolling down there is a written pattern Which I prefer but to have video to watch your going in correct stitch. So much easier than looking back and fourth at printed copy

The instructions are for the slipper to finish 10.5" or are they 10.5" when stretched? I wear size nine and my foot is 9.5"I followed the instructions and added two extra rows to both the toe and the heel so four extra rows total and my slipper finished nine and a half inches without stretching is that correct? At any rate thank you my slipper fits great and it's super cute

Hi again, THANK YOU AGAIN! I just keep watching your videos. This is my favorite. I have to say l don’t like this yarn much, it is hard to work with for me, due to my arthritis. But l also love your extremely sweet voice and very graceful hands. I worry about the little cut on your left hand when l see.💗
