It appears you are inserting hook into back of double crochet stitches in a different spot than normal. Is there a reason or am I just seeing things? Thank you
Hi Helen, you are right, most of the time when I crochet into double or treble crochets, I insert the hook not under the two loops on the top (they way most crocheters do), but directly into the double crochet (or treble crochet), under 3 loops. That way my stitches are aligned one on top of the other. But if you only insert the hook under those two loops on the top, you will see that your stitches are slightly shifted to the side. I should probably make a video about it!
