This is a quick tutorial on how I do my magic ring and how to work single crochets into the magic ring.
This technique is for crocheting amigurumi and projects that require crocheting in the rounds.

I have been failing at learning how to make a magic circle on and off for over a decade. This is the first tutorial I watched that ended with me successfully having a magic ring, and for that I'm indebted to you.

This was a good tutorial that helped me actually remember and do it without the video! My only issue was I had the wrong end I was wrapping around so my magic wasn't working to close the circle, making me do it 3 times. The working end of the year is the one you wraparound and hangs off the topside of the 2 fingers. Leaving this for me to remember next time!

when i pull the starting tail to try to pull it together, the tail won't budge. What am i doing wrong?!

Wow! I've been crocheting and knitting for, oh lord, 63 years, and never learned how to do this! I'm not sure I even heard of it until a few years ago but didn't attempt it. Thank you! I paused it and started it several times before I found it I could do it without the video!

I don't understand why this has so many dislikes. I just picked up a pattern that required a magic circle and had never done one. I am new to crochet still. Watched this video once and got it. Bright clear visuals. Clear speaking voice. Great Video.
