So you do 2xDC at the start and end on the row with the 4, and 1xDC at start and end of the row with the 5 posts? Such an awesome stitch 💙 Thank you for sharing too

How many stitches wide is recommended for a scarf?

Usually about 5" wide. That will look different depending on your tension! But if you follow the stitch multiple you can measure as you go!
