I am just completing this lovely scarf for a dear friend. Though I really like the yarn Jennifer used here, I used Lion Brand Low Tide in the color way Palm, a soft sage. I had never worked with that yarn before, it is very delicate and has a chainette look, very pretty. I let my friend choose the color. For some reason, on this pattern, I had to refer to the written instructions for several rows before I memorized it. Now I have it down so will need to make another one soon! Jennifer is my favorite instructor, very thorough and patient. I have made several of her patterns. I always look forward to her next video! Thank you, Jennifer!

helpful hint, pull about an inch of the center pull yarn, so it is like you have 2 skeins that are connected, having the tight part out of the large skein, makes using yarn easier from the center pull.

I am doing the scarf with heartland lion brand yarn in color kings canyon but I am not like finish in different form I am decided built in the initial chain. I am made 5 chain loops and growing the scarf in opposite directions and booth end are similar. 😉

Hi Jennifer. I really like this scarf pattern, it's very pretty, looks easy and would be a beautiful gift. Question::: I both knit and crochet but have never used ombre yarn. Are there any tips for adding on a new skein to avoid an abrupt change of color when making a throw..... and also if making a sweater would you need multiple skeins of ombre so each pattern piece has the same color gradients? I hope you can help me with this question..as it has me scratching my head. Thanks Linda A
