I learned how to crochet in January 2019 from watching your playlist of stitch tutorials. I had struggled following along with videos from other channels, but your teaching style and slow motion replays are what made it click. I committed to completing swatches of all 7 or so videos that were there at the time, and thus my crochet addiction began. My C2C swatch grew into a queen sized blanket over the course of several months. My skills have grown to an advanced level now. Thank you for teaching me the hobby I adore.

You are a life saver!!!!!!!! I have a granny square bag that I've been procrastinating to finish because I got stuck at the handles since I wanted to crochet them using the thermal stitch. Literally the best timing😭👌 Would you recommend me to first crochet the handles separately and then attach them on the bag or start crocheting them on the bag? Which of the two is going to be sturdier?

@@375rating I’m so god to have helped! That’s a great idea. So to answer the second part I guess stronger may be to make separate and then sew onto it after or you can stitch them in as you go to join. But it depends on if stitching them to join would work with how you are making the squares. I always like reinforcing handles so either way I’d add in make sure your connection is strongly reinforced.

@@GoodKnitKisses Thank you for replying!! 🩷 So basically I've already connected all of the granny squares (I made them with single crochet stitch) and I also added a couple extra rows of single crochet for a neater look. Is it possible to start crocheting the one part of the handles with thermal stitch on the bag and then I guess finish them and stitch the other side of them on the bag? Also as you said how can I reinforce the handles? 🥹

@@375rating yes! You could start adding the thermal stitch now for sure. If it’s already integrated to a thermal stitch you wouldn’t need to reinforce. Reinforce to me is using the same yarn with a tapestry needle and stitching through again. But if it flows from an edge of thermal stitch into a smaller handle width then that would be really nice.
