You're so lucky you can go a week without washing your hair. I can't even go 2 days without it getting SUPER oily at the roots.

Even with hairspray my curl lasts around 20 minutes.

For everyone who is upset and missed her "natural hair" Her natural hair is still there, she simply straightened her hair. It's all about having different looks. She loves and rocks her natural but there is nothing wrong if she wants a new look. It is just like makeup, you love how you look naturally but there isn't anything wrong with adding some makeup. She can still get her curly hair back once she washes it. She did not relax it or use any chemical treatments. Also, I know it's a huge thing to criticize those who don't wear their hair curly, but curly hair is pretty difficult to maintain. It is a lot more effort than straightened hair, and as a new mother, it's understandable why she wants to straighten it. She isn't saying she doesn't like her natural hair or hat she is "less confident". She is just changing up her look, something she is entitled to do.

You could use cocoa powder as well as a dry shampoo. I would always overdo it with the corn starch and then I would be sitting there looking like a powdered donut, so I then tried cocoa powder and it works amazingly. Also your hair looks sooooo healthy guurl, keep slaying

@alexandra I tried these tips yesterday and it worked. I even tried it with hot rollers and just let it sit in my hair til they cooled. I love the effect it gave my hair. My favorite curl is the second one too. Well, the first two and my go-to now. Also, thanks for reminding me I need to make my hair 'feel dirty' before styling. Such good classic advice. I really loved this, I always did the classic curl but my hair is very long n thick (not as curly) like yours. It became nearly impossible w/o extreme effort to curl (classic) due to length and I just gave up entirely. With low expectations I tried the wrap method.... WOW. Not only did it take 1/3 of the time, I wasn't dying in pain from moving & holding my wrists/arms in very painful positions for over an hour. Thank you, I love all your content but this by far was a game changer 🥰

Oh this was SO helpful! I've been struggling with the flat wrap technique as my hair is stick straight and easily slips between my fingers. I'm definitely gonna try your technique with the fingers I'll keep my fingers crossed that it does the trick for me 😉

The body wave is my favourite!!

My hair is a mix of fine and course, dirty blonde and very long. I just massage brazil nut oil into it after washing is drys into tight spiral curls. otherwise its slightly wavy. Maybe its just me?

I love doing the classic curl but I've learned to not clip it at the ends I start with the clip at the root and slowly pull it down until I add the ends in st the end for a a second or so. My favorite curl to do is more like the body wave. It works when I wear my wavy-curly hair naturally the body wave will fix a piece of hair and blend it in to my natural hair
