How to cut your baby's hair (Highly Requested) 

I tried, I failed. I'm so sorry son 😢

With my first child I never looked it up any instructional videos and it showed. With my second child I wasn't willing to make that mistake. His hair was so long! I just watch this video and decided to give it a shot. It looks perfect! He wouldn't let me finish the top, so I still need to do that, but the rest of it is amazing. Thank you so much!

I just used this and it worked FANTASTICALLY! Thank you! :) I dropped $20 earlier today at a kid's cuts place for my 12-month old, and he just didn't sit still well enough to get a good haircut (despite a fun car-shaped seat, snacks, and a cartoon on). So we left with a shaggy mess. This fixed it up and I'm thrilled that I'll be able to do his hair myself from now on! :D

My son is 16 months. After a failed attempt at the hair dresser I tried this. he was not as well behaved as your son and it's a little messed up in one spot but honestly no one else noticed it. THANK YOU!

I'd leave a strainer in the sink to catch the hair, or else it might clog up. Looks great! I'm super nervous about giving my boy his first hair cut. He's so sensitive and ticklish around the neck and ears. The video definitely helped though, thank you!

he’s so adorable. i’ve been trying to cut my 15 month old son’s hair for the past month, but each time i only manage to get one or two snips (if that) before he runs away. most of the time i don’t even get that far, it’s just me repeatedly trying to grab sections of hair before he wiggles away. now it rly looks ridiculous bc he has a LOT of hair. i even tried doing it while he was asleep. i used to do [adult] hair professionally and they most definitely do NOT prepare u for a 1 year old who won’t sit still. i’m about to try ur method now! we’ll see how it goes. i’m feeling more optimistic lol.

Great method, thanks! Instead of candy and the bath, I had my son watching videos while sitting in my husbands' lap. My son's hair always looks great after this, and the layers still look great as they grow out.

Handsome young man Mommy! I have found that I use to have my girlfriend or my mother hold the babies head from moving because, if I didn't take that precaution, I could have easily, accidentally have cut the babies ears as the scissors were razor sharp. When someone was with my baby, that made my baby happily busy so I could get the job done. In my Mom's day she said that she had to just shave off my father's hair crew cut army style so she did the same thing for my brother rather than giving him a proper haircut. As for me, my Mother and my aunt who was a hairdresser put a bowl on head and cut around very unevenly and poorly. My hair was a mess as a baby and as a little girl growing up. LOL! omg my lil boy his mother and I are going thru the whole first time hair cut I want to get him a lil fade with a lil tail (the oldskool one) not that ugly looking thing people be wearing 😌 I also told her let's do it ourselves and save our selves the dinero(not being cheap) but I'm not trying to have my lil papa crying in front of peeps. I rather do it in the safe n comfort of my home . I feel more then confident now handing this as a papa , gratzee 😇

Hi my little girls hair is quite long she's 19m old but her hair is matting at the back and looks like mini dreads! I've tried combing out with Conditioner but as soon as she goes in her car seat it's fuzzs up again and matts up! Help she looks terrible and it looks like I'm not doing anything about it !
