I was married for 43 years and now divorced. We struggled because of these very issues Jimmy speaks about. Unresolved Anger destroyed our marriage. If we had heard and gone to Christian counseling, I feel confident we would have made it work. We later became good friends of which I'm grateful, it helped our children cope better. Neither of us married again. He became ill and passed away 4 years ago. I was there for him until the end. Jimmy, has great teachings. If God sends another soulmate into my life, I will be more educated and ready to resolved anger issues, with love and respect for my partner.

Even though I am going through divorce (God's way works, unfortunately it doesn't work when only one person wants to work it out and go God's way) ... I still enjoy these.. It's helpful to build a better me and helps to know what I want in a future relationship.

I hear you and my prayers are with you. I do am facing a divorce and am praying for my miricale of reconciliation. I have an angry wife and i so badly love her and want to repair our relationship bjt it is very difficult. I habe no.power nut all things are.possible through christ who love us and gives us his strength.

@@mikewhite9148 I'm in a similar situation. I'm praying for a Miracle reconciliation. Its been very hard not knowing if it will happen. That is great you want to repair yours, my prayer is for you both. It takes two wanting to work together for a healthy marriage. Mine is the opposite, it is him that isn't willing right now. So often just the right video of his comes up right when I need it. This morning I prayed God would help me with my anger, I did it as usual silently so it's not like my phone picked up on any words about it. I just went onto youtube and this was right up front recommended for me.

I need prayer for my wife and I desperately. We have dealt with addiction and a number of other things but we love each other and need prayer. Anger has been dividing us. I thank God for these teachings it’s the only way I do well is constantly listening to jimmy

Quick thing, the video is awesome! The last part about women / men dealing with emotions : i’ve always read or heard that women and men both start to go into fight or flight when their heart rates get over 100bpm, it’s not a men thing ... it’s a human being thing. I’m pretty sure Gottman was one of the researchers that said this.

I am sold out on his ministry and teachings. He is truly gifted with great wisdom about marriage. All I can say is, wish I had known about his ministry when I was married. Men and women's minds work differently, as it states in a book Men Are From Mars Women Are From Venus. The only reason I stated this book, it helped me to understand the difference between the 2 sexes and how to understand each other. Great Book. Not knocking Jimmy's teaching at all his is fantastic. However, everyone that is going to start a marriage/relationship, should read first.

Yes, don’t get me wrong, there are times when we need to be angry, we need to fight… If not we be goose-stepping our way to work right now. But it should be one of the LAST options, not always the first. Because when you get angry, you don’t think straight, and people take ADVANTAGE of that

I feel so sad. I could use the prayer and the power of our Lord today...my husband has hurt my soul. He has had a lot of anger towards me. He calls me names, puts me down and has now put physical harm towards me. I ask for prayer. I ask for help.

Praying for you Veronica. ❤️ you are a daughter of God, He is your Heavenly Father and wants you to be safe & loved. He does not want you in harms way, so even though God hates divorce he hates abuse as well. Pray for your husband anc your own heart, for healing. God can change him, but you also need to set boundaries and be wise in protecting yourself. You are worth respecting, loving & cherishing. Break the cycle & stand your ground against the devil, fight for your marriage n do not repay evil with evil. Please be safe but pray for healing & Gods conviction over your husband. Stay safe sister. Lean into Jesus He hears your aching heart & can give you strength to endure & overcome. ❤️🙏🏼
