Great tutorial man! I just bought your project files and everything works, but I still have a question: How can I make MIDI-Channels from the Patterns? I'm new into ableton and don't know how to solve this issue. It just keeps playing / looping all together. I want to train the arrangement of those kind of techno songs and build a test song out of it, but I really cant figure out how to make MIDI channels of the single channels (f.e. Kick, Hats etc.). I hope you understand my question. Thanks in Advance and best regards :)

Thanks ! Grab the element from the drum rack you want and drop it into a new midi clip. Then you have to change the key scale % to 0 otherwise it will play your sample at different pitch. Or use the note C3 it will play your sample at normal pitch

Hello, if you could make.a tutorial on how to make a kick from second track from that EP (PVREST ABSOLVTION) that would be awsome. 3 days spent, no luck. or if you can tell the way here.. also good. is it some famous sample, or is it 909 with distortion?

figured it out occasionally, the key to that sound appeared in heavy compression, 20dB+ did that with limiter

kick recreation are very hard because first is pretty unpredictable, because kick react so differently one to another to the same effect. it's easier to recreate a synth sound than a kick...but yeah usually its about disto/saturation, EQ and compression

The side chain is a 909 clap, it's on send only, it's only to trigger the side chain conpression
