Thanks for the USN info as I have a stack of these with the WW2 type tag you show. Even one with I think is a post WW2 patch with Airantisubron 39 on it and a rating with a globe? with wings. USN is a tough lot for me to research!! can't even look up basic records!! if you know a way please let me know

Thanks for watching. Navy rates/patches/tags can sometimes be difficult to date. Honestly over the years I have just done some pretty extensive searching online and found some bits and pieces along the way....

On the WW2 liners, does it matter about the clips that hold the webbing in the helmets? I had read that the grey looking ones were used in WW2, and the black was Korea and Vietnam. Is that sound right?
