Whilst I agree re: spamming strings, they say he's not brain dead because they have to learn all of the pathways of offense including the various stances. They say the same with Reina, really, but an increase on difficulty level.
At higher level of play I would say Hwo definitely gets harder to play. But that will fall on the player and they may get hard stuck at ranks due to any bad habits they learned
Congrats on the rank, King! This game is really testing me in a different way than previous Tekkens. I'm having trouble getting out of reds right now, which is weird for me.
I wish they would eventually implement a feature where in Rank/Quick match settings. You can set it to only face certain characters. So you can get used to playing 1 type of character for a while if you want.
I can definitely see where you're coming from. But when you run into those crazy characters use that as an opportunity to learn! You don't want to be a Fujin/TK not knowing how to punish an Asuka or Hwo for an example.
With rang players you just gotta learn his string they usually do the same string over and over just time his low and blitz em you got to bait em just let him get one in and he will try to do it all the rounds
I'll eat lows against Hworang all day and just steamroll them once I get pressure. They usually try to mash out of pressure. Lili also has DB3 which is a counter crumble high crush.
That's why I love to match up as Paul against Hwoarang. The whole string pressure is cool to practice defense against, and it really tilts them when the opponent blocks, evades, parries, and reverses their neverending strings of flipppy-floppy kicks. And once they get tilted, that's when Paul can go like a train, because they wouldn't think evading. Just eat the smasher/demoman mixup. Omnomnom.
This hwoarang is dumb lol good pressure but he's just hitting of instinct and freestyles but not technical but great reads towards the end noah even though im a hwoarang player i still play technical
