How To Deal With High Pressure In FIFA 23! 

I agree. There should be a counter setting which positions players or let them act against the press by freeing themselves from constantly getting man marked. I struggle a lot with high pressure opponents to a point where I start to pass to the back and eventually lose the ball and concede.

@@hischransen8069 for me, flipping on hug sideline for wingers helps in getting more room to play out of the pressure, but that doesnt fix anything, its still tedious as heck to play when you play that way for the full 90 mins, the problem is the fact that the stamina drained players only affect the player thats being controlled and none of the ai-controlled players. the only winning move is not to play afterall =/

No this game is filled with lag switch cheaters. It’s a thing on the console. This new device Cronus Z is a mod hack that connects to the console to activate lag switch. It’s in every game that’s next gen. Lots of these stay home mf don’t have a job and have nothing to do not getting good at a game. They decide to cheat to make like they are good. Streamers uses it too. It’s in FPS games and now Fifa. They use real high pace players and when you have the ball and through and about to score they turn on the lag switch so that you miss or it gets cleared without you seeing it. When you defend those high pace players, they turn on the lag switch so that the game lags and freeze and you can’t defend or see and the next thing you know is that they scored. Normal gameplay, there wasn’t any lag detected but it’s only when I’m about to score or have the ball it happens, and then when they attack I try to defend, it happens with the lag and I can’t see and they score. It happens on my side. If I can’t see it, wouldn’t it make them not able to score? But they score without me seeing it. They are hacking and cheating. It’s totally real, these cheaters. There is no point in playing if people gonna cheat. Just play squad battles for the week. Screw division rivals, and FUT champs, the rewards are shitty anyways and filled with jerks who can’t get a real job instead stays at home, spend a little to buy the hack mod device and cheat on games.

Yeah, I agree.. having a proper tactic to counter it would be great. But it's not impossible to deal with it right now, just takes practice and some quick thinking! :) - CruZzAve

Game needs to be slowed down. MASSIVELY. This idea of exploiting pace and the arcadic was the game feels is just embarrassing especially on next Gen.

It should be L2 but you check in the attacking controls.

@@evansomondi5654 I tried but this only works when I switch to the default controls with R2 for running, R1 does call players closer! But I am used to run with R1. Thanks for your suggestion though 👍
