How to deal with loneliness: Catholic Advice 

This cheered me up so much ! I’ve started feeling lonely as a Catholic academic (undergrad student). I questioned what it all means , basically. God Bless. 💙🙏

Wow, such great advice. Literally started praying and praising God and it's melting away slowly. I am also reaching out to my spiritual director.

Another remedy: Eucharistic Adoration. Spend time with our Lord. Even if prayer feels dry: "I look at Him, and He looks at me." Let Jesus see you. Look upon His wounds, and let Him see and heal your own. I was surprised to hear this formulation of Joy from a priest: To receive Joy, we must let God love us. Even those most vulnerable wounds, which, in my experience, can conceal themselves most proudly in the self-pity of my loneliness and melancholy. Thank you for the video, Nicholas! I look at social media and here on YT to help connect with others but I actually end up feeling more lonely. Example...I join in with many other Catholics commenting on a priests homily. No one, not ONE person acknowledges my comment or replies. But every other person is engaging with others. Frequent occurrence! My remedy...I'm going to Mass and Confession tomorrow. This can only be oppression from evil one. God bless
