I was real quiet at the post office... casing mail all the carriers always gossiping everyday and I was always on eggshells and the “quiet one” & never gave them nothing but a smile and positivity... they would say “ ooh beware of the quiet ones....they are the most crazy” 😂 people will twist anything.
As a quiet dude myself just entering my first job at 20, I will definitely be expecting this to be said about me. I finished my first week and haven’t said a word except to my boss and did everything to a T, but im sure the females especially are going to start some shit. I don’t understand why people have to gossip or speak about non related subjects to the job. Getting friendly with a coworker as I’ve always been told is like stepping on land mines. One bad move and you could lose your job and have a ruined reputation
Exactly! They hate it when you’re quiet cause they don’t know about your life 🤣 That’s how pathetic these coworkers are. They’re so bored with their lives and have nothing else better to do but come to work gossiping🤣🤣
Exactly. If you speak with people, they will twist your words and spread rumors, if you choose not to speak at all, you will also be gossiped about for not participating in the dysfunctional interactions. Either way, you’re going to be lied about, talked smack about and triangulated against so may as well stay silent, work, and do your own thing, or quit and become self-employed.

Everything right on. Be discerning who you're dealing with or talking to, especially coworkers. I love that suggestion to never outshine your supervisor but make them look good. Also to be quiet and focus on my work when around toxic coworkers. I mostly try to focus on my work and stay out of people's way anyway.I will talk to co workers but not for very long conversations.

I’m ready for these people to try me. I have no problem saying anything I’ve said to work because I know I’m not in the wrong. They know I’m with my shit and that’s why they gotta talk to my boss in secrecy instead of coming to me in front of our boss. They’ll get caught up in their distortion of my words 🤷♀️
