Just wanted to say thank you for this video! I looked high and low for this type of video. My Ooler was making a noise and insurance said they can't do anything because it still works. 🙄🤔😒 I was able to fix it myself because of your video! Thanks!

Thank you very much indeed. My Ooler was not cooling but now is once more.

Also dropping a thanks here! - have had multiple ooler units act up or fail to heat/cool. This is the first place I found mention of the resetting thermostat. That got a unit working for me again! Took things apart more; the thermoelectric coolers are inline/interlocked with the stat - so if the stat trips all heat/cool stops. Also found a unit where the thermostat doesn't have any reset button. It also has a different pump and different Power Supply board from any others I have or shown here. Ty again!

Thanks for the video. I’m going to clean mines this weekend. I think the fan is probably going bad, might need to buy a replacement.

Thank you so much for this video. My Ooler has been squealing and of course is out of warranty so I got no customer support. I will try this and see if it helps!

this was so helpful!!!!! THANK YOU!!!!! i also had to stick a screwdriver in a hole below the machine (scary) to flip the thermal breaker, but it’s working like brand new!!!!!!

I have tried this multiple times and cannot figure it out. My ooler doesn't heat or cool anymore. I've put screwdriver in the hole many times, but nothing seems to happen and it's unclear what I should see / hear / feel.

No way to get into the water tank or take it apart? I’m trying to completely drain mine and I can hear water moving around inside it, but when looking in the refill hole it looks empty. There’s water somewhere underneath that panel but I can’t get to it. Nothing is coming out of the drain anymore either.

Hi! Any insight on how to take apart the connector on the hose? I think I have a blockage in the hose, so I want to get in there. Can’t get around the white connector cover on the hose itself.

I just tore mine down due to a leak that Chili refused to backup and I was so surprised they didn't add some sort of mesh to protect from dust getting inside. It wasn't cooling well at all and now I know why.

I can't tell if I need a thermal reset or if my pump is broken. Does the thermal reset require the unit to be plugged in or what? I can just barely see in the hole there's some kind of hole and a soft looking button. I've punched that in with a screwdriver multiple times and it doesn't seem to have done anything. I also deep cleaned the ooler. My guess is the pump is broken, but the fact that it gets warm overnight from my body heat and never cools does make it seem like it is in fact heating up. Any advice or an actual video with closeups of the thermal reset process would be really helpful

Hello! Have you found any update/solution to your issue? This is the same that is happening to ours. Sometimes it works, but then a night comes where it just won't cool and will get perpetually warmer throughout the night. Try resetting but can't seem to notice any difference.

I had the same problem. You have to hit the reset every night. I think its caused by a failing peltier module. But chillisleep won't help, (they're useless). They will say it's because you are trying to cool too much (they say you should only take the system 10° colder than the room).
