In our state (and I preface this because it is my understanding there are some battle dynamics discrepancies between older and newer states) the rally bounces off the existing garrisoned troops and do not “merge” or collect any troops from the friendly March.
Other great tips: 1) Reinforce a strong player. Use this technique when you hold center, they start a rally, you do the reinforcement technique, their spotter thinks you are setting up a ghost rally, and then they cancel their rally to restart it after. This equals more hold time for you. 2) Similar to above, but set a rally on an Infected Fiend. They see people marching to the base, thinking it is a ghost rally and it can throw off their timing. These are not direct defences to a ghost rally, however work well in causing confusion / disarray during the battle 😁
Another way is to have everyone send solos while the rally launches. solos will merge into reinforcements and can be timed using 400 bio march speedups. If enough people do this, our rally will be full the second after it takes the capital and have a decent chance of defending the ghost rally as it is usually weaker in troop quality. To maximize the chances, send more solos from rally leaders hitting after the ghost rallies. Your 180K troop solos will win against 250K troops with no infantry. If multiple rally leaders do so, it is virtually unbeatable (or falls into a competition of who spends more on healing speedups)
Yes this is smart advice. Just make sure your lower level members are alert enough to recall their marches if you lose the building to avoid further filling up hospitals.
This is actually the best way to counter ghost rallies. If you time it well enough you can even do it without spending biocaps to speedup marches, except for the RL of course who definitely have to spend at least 1 400 bio march speedup 🤣
Thank you for the tips, but for my state the best way to conterattack the g.rallys are to attack the opponents settlements so we force them to move, thus, they will always disband their rallys. This way we can somehow push the capital holding position more toward for our benefit. this requests sacrifice because you literally are throwing strong players to enemy thus u weaken your capital a little bit. But, with the help of your allied friends (this is about SVS strategy) u can turn this "weak capital" into your favour by giving them the position to keep the towers. it is good strategy and always worked if we managed to have a good communication between our entire state
When you or your team matching Capitol touch the Capitol when there is rally sign and wait like that not touching anywhere. Like this you can open rally even yourself. 😉
