Jonathan from @Golden Press Studio walks us through the new formula of Sgreen® Stuff and how he uses it in his tiny, baby sized wash out room. Sgreen can do wonders around your screen printing shop. You can dehaze, degrease, and even remove those year-old ghost images on screens.
Sgreen® Stuff is an aggressive but environmentally friendly dual action dehazer and degreaser designed to remove the toughest ink haze from leftover plastisol, water based and discharge inks. Sgreen® Stuff leaves your mesh free of all oils and contaminants and reduces the occurrence of pinholes to allow for better adhesion of your emulsion. Sgreen® Stuff deep cleans mesh for superior screen clarity and cleans mesh stains with less noticeable odor while working more efficiently than most hazardous stain removers. With Sgreen® Stuff you save both time and money, by combining the last two steps of screen reclamation into one and reducing the number of chemicals you need in your reclamation process.

Just a heads up - if you use an air compressor to dry the screen, make sure to have a filter on the air. It can shoot a bit of oil and dirt back onto the screens.

Can you use this on screen before putting anything on it ?

It's best practice to wet both sides with water first but otherwise just be sure to clean your screen of any inks first and you're good to go!

do you need a power washer to wash the chemicals out?

Hi @killedinfluence! i would recommend having a pressure washer for the removal of emulsion, but not fully necessary. It will make your life easier though. Degreasing and haze removal doesn't need a pressure washer. Hope that helps.

Hey @Logan McCoy, that sucks! Gotta be careful! Gloves, face and eye protection and even a waterproof apron are all good tools to have on hand when reclaiming. No matter what chemical it is.

Used this over the weekend for a few screens, didn’t get any results, left it over night too as recommended.

Hey Damian! question. what kind of ink are you printing with? plastisol, WB, or...?

@@Ryonet I haven't had much luck with it either. Not sure if i need to change my technique or what. I was using Speedball waterbased ink on a 230 screen and it got pretty dried up. I used some Aqua Wash at first but there was still some ghosting left over. I then went to the Sgreen Stuff and I used the technique described in the video, waited 10 minutes but could hardly see any change after washing out. Then I reapplied and left overnight and didn't see any change after that either. I do not currently have a pressure washer. Just a good quality garden hose. Thanks for any advise!!

I used a few times! But I didn’t get any result! I use plastisol ink (FN-INk) on a 110, 156 even 230 screens mesh. But still the same thing! My power wash is pretty strong and I don’t think that’s the problem! I don’t know how avoid this problem

Hi Abraham, we don't currently have a distributor in Mexico. However, we could still fulfill an order for you and ship it to a freight forwarder. Let us know how we can help! Happy printing.
