In this English lesson you'll learn words and phrases to describe food. We all love food, so it is one of the most common topics when learning a language. In this English class two teachers try food from around the world, and comment in a natural way about what they are eating.
You'll learn to describe spicy food, crunchy food, unique food, sweet food, salty food, and many more types of food.
You might even recognize some of the things we try as all of this food is from around the world. Nothing that we try is from Canada or the United States!
I hope you enjoy this English lesson about food. Have a great day!
Be sure to head over to Brent's channel ( @AmericanEnglishBrent ) and watch part 2! Here's the link: • HOW TO TALK ABOUT FOOD...

Hey, Bob! I have been watching your videos for a while and I love all your topics. It is an awesome way to learn words that describe snacks in this way. One fun fact about the snacks is that I grow up eating the shrimp flakes. Seeing you and Brent try it makes me excited and homesick. It also reminds me of my childhood, sitting on the floor and eating the shrimp flakes while watching TV. Looking forward to more fun videos. ❤

Hi guys, it is very nice to see you together again, your lessons are really valuable because we can learn in a very fun way! I am Sicilian and it is curious that in the dialect of my country (Messina) apricots are called Pricope (instead in Italian they are called albicocche) So the root of the word in your language and in the Sicilian dialect seems very similar!

🎯 Key Takeaways for quick navigation: 00:00 🍽️ Learn to describe food in English with two teachers trying international snacks. 00:57 🥔 Plantain chips from Colombia are crunchy and slightly sweet, with a hint of sweetness. 01:55 🧀 "Cheese curls" from the United Arab Emirates are cheesy and crunchy, similar to American cheese curls. 03:28 🍫 Choco Pie from South Korea is a little dry, less sweet than North American treats, and has a marshmallow filling. 04:34 🦐 Shrimp flakes from China are lightly salted, lightly flavored, and have a noticeable shrimp taste.
