I found I was able to pull myself out of fight or flight in the moment with combat breathing exercises. That is 5 second inhale, hold for 5, exhale for 5, hold for 5 seconds repeat. If you can't do that drop it to 4 seconds or 3 each step. It works for people in life and death situations, it WILL help you too. You've got this 💪

What I have felt is, make a routine that you used to before u had such anxiety depression. Sleep time maybe 8 hrs. Remaining 16 hrs divide for work/study that you must do daily. Now Remaining time shall be focused on what you love and personal hygiene and all. Make such routine that u have no time to think anything and keep busy. You take bath clean your house and furniture's and gardening and grocery shopping and morning walk evening walk meditation healthy diet and all. Never stay home sleeping in bed. Being busy makes tired and u can get good sleep at night. Then being busy also make you focus on different stuff and distract yourself rather focusing on anxiety symptoms and all. Slowly it fades away. Meditation of at least 30min a day helps to calm mind and panic attacks.

It’s robbed me of opportunities in many ways. These videos are the only things that truly speak to my experiences. I’ve seen countless other videos, programs, therapists, etc but no one has spoken to my experiences like these videos. You are an absolute godsend! This is valuable information and I appreciate you being so very detailed about it, and not trying to make money off of it. So many people have the answers, but they try to get you to pay for something for the information they learned and recovered from. My symptoms are muscle, twitching, and neuropathy in my hands and feet. Neurologist and doctors have exhausted everything. My B12 is normal. I don’t have MS I’ve had all the MRIs done, I’m fine but after years of chronic stress it boils down to my nervous system being frazzled. I am completely on board and tired of worrying about what is wrong with me. There is nothing wrong with me. I’m just stressed. If that’s it, then it’s actually a relief. I can stop obsessing about my symptoms now that I know there’s nothing wrong with me. I really truly believe that’s what it is so thank you. I will listen to your other videos and will be completely on board with your suggestions. Mike Counselor was telling me the same thing about acceptance and surrendering to the symptoms. Basically everything you said but I dismissed her and quit going but because I was still convinced that there was something wrong with me physically, but because you’ve been through it yourself it actually makes sense the way you explain it. Thanks 1 million!

I think this is my first MAJOR set back.. We will get there!!! Stay strong all 💪

@@Claireparfait hey friend! I recently just got over covid and my worst symptom was crippling anxiety and fear, one thing that helped me was the process of building my nervous system back up bc covid wrecks ur nervous and immune system so it’s important to take vitamins and supplements to get em up and running again! And if you keep it up that fear of catching covid again will disappear because this time covid will be fighting against a strong and build immune and nervous system instead of an already weakened one, also hope this helps but you can get covid again 3-6 months after you’ve gotten it, and now ur body has the antibodies it needs to fight against the illness and if God forbid u catch it again it will be nothing like the first time. I was really happy too and out of no where this sickness caught me and rocked me good. I started to have doubts of all aspects in my life, but once I started taking these supplements, got back into my routine, and am in the process of desensitizing my nervous system I’m starting to feel like myself the majority of the time again
@Alexia-od5uk
@Alexia-od5uk 2 года назад
@@Claireparfait but with that being said here are said supplements, Ashwaganda helps support a healthy stress response this one I noticed a difference with right away, secondly Vitamin D3 a lot of people lack the proper amount of vitamin D which is 5000 IEU a day (you can find this dosage in most ones at the store), taking a good multi vitamin is good too(gummy or capsules will work) and finally zinc, I noticed quick results by taking these vitamins daily in the morning with food and never on an empty stomach bc it will cause nausea and you can throw up(happened to me a couple times), it was inexpensive and worth it, I feel much much better after about 3 weeks, I hope this helps and I hope you feel better soon friend, we’re all in this together!

April 2022 my first panic attack was driving at night on the highway. It felt like i was gonna pass out. I got so scared my heart started pounding so bad, I had to pull over. Went to a gas station got a coke and started breathing. Few mins later I got bad nausea and got Dry heaving. I just drove streets and got home. But after that day I wasn’t the same. Sept 2023- I had recovered this year from April to mid August. A little dizziness brought it back. It got so bad I went to hospital. Doctors ruled out it was anxiety. And I hated that they just sent me home. Found Shaan here in RU-vid and it’s kinda helping. Soon I’ll be able to not fear my symptoms. That’s my #1 thing, my heart palpitations and feeing like passing out. It’s little bit easier but man , it was hard making your mind think that you’re ok, you’re not falling down. I just have to accept that I’m not. Setbacks aren’t cool…

Doesn’t matter how long you’ve been in it, you can come out. You can stop being scared and obsessed about anxiety. All the symptoms are literally bluffing you. It’s your belief in them that gives them power. I know an 85 year old man who recovered from anxiety and had the best years of his life. Read the book “bad ass ways to end anxiety” learn to float through your symptoms, learn to do what scares you and have a “let’s do this attitude”, you can and will succeed, God healed me, being courageous even when I felt terrified healed me, saying “f you” and living life regardless and having a “whatever happens is ok” mentality. Your nervous system CAN calm down. Don’t give it any more power than it needs life is short enough just float with the systems, keep a schedule, pray and get decent sleep. It’s a bumpy ride but you ABSOLUTELY can recover regardless of any length of time.

Shaan you are doing such a great thing by making and sharing these videos. One of my takeaways which has actually benefited me a lot is to “let the symptoms be there”. From my personal experience I can say that once you allow it they disappear. Even though I feel anxious sometimes just letting it be there and enjoy life makes all the difference. Lets try to consider the symptoms as a friend who is trying to tell us something (may be to slow down, or to talk to a friend, pamper yourself or just watch your videos :p) rather than considering them enemy. This works all the time :)

i had my first panic attack at the age of 8 years old at my grandmothers house. staying the night at her house made me nervous because i missed my parents. my dad started having seizures and i was afraid to leave him and be away. i wanted comfort and i never really got it. i couldn't sleep out of fear of throwing up. i would wake up shaking all over, feeling nauseous which only made the anxiety worse, and my heart would race. i would just cry sometimes and text my mom and just want her. i would have panic attacks at my friends house and never could spend the night. i would even have them at home when i was with my parents. i didn't know what was wrong with me. i was just that afraid of my own body. and now that im older, i have an extreme fear of fainting. im afraid of health issues or any kind of bodily sensations and it causes panic. i have a job and im honestly surprised ive never called out from the anxiety.

I would be playing or making edit when all of a sudden i would get a scary sensation and my hear rate would spike up and go back down. It might be because of my anxiety but i still panick because its scary. Im not sure if im the only one but i wanted to share this

my symptoms have slowly been going away. i’ve been running and my derealization is basically gone the only symptoms i’ve been struggling with recently is fast heart rate insomnia and light sensitivity soemtimes disoriented it sounds bad but compared to what i was a month i legit thought i was going insane and got very depressed. luckily i think i’m starting to become desensitized

Frustration comes to me because i didn't ask for this. I can't return it to the store. It's not the size i was wearing before, I just want my old clothes back. Get stuck in the two year old tantrum behavior or the thirteen year old who knows everything or the one who says i might make it worse and then what will i do. Big word for all of these is trust...I just haven't found it.

As i was watching this my left part of my bottom chest the rib hurts so much like being stab but atleast not in the middle of the chest cause it hurts to breath but my ribs is so painful like fml, but atleast i realized what im going through and what is happening after therapist and doctor telling me but my natural response is alright they all tell me the same thing and i know im freaking healthy but the doubt withing me is huge and my overthinking about the future really makes it worst and i cant shut it off is just 😖 exhausting my headbis spinning for entire week and i didnt went school not even one day 😢 i even feel like i might get kicked from the school, as a first class student in my school last year the pressure is huge 😔, and im still dizzy but i have nausea pills given by clinic, my ribs hurts so much 😬

When I have anxiety the only thing that calms me down is running and/ or laying down on the floor with my hands on the belly.. I started doing this as a “copy mechanism “ 4 years ago and it’s getting worse and worse . So , in the last months , After having watched these videos and read “heal your nerves “ I ‘ ve tried to stay at home even full of anxiety, forcing myself to feel it , without running away.. the problem is that nothing changes and , worser , if anxiety stops my tension headaches starts (immediately ) and in a very strong way ! What should I do ??

I got what you said about your fear of anxiety making your nervous system to be sensitive, lets say you can control that specific fear,but every person has worries and fears in othe fields of their life which i assume causing the same problem, what about that?
