Thank you for sharing, I've had my minc machine for quite some time, But I have hardly used it. I've just started doing project life, so putting these two ideas together is great, I don't always like the quotes that are on the ready made cards, So thanks again for the inspiration

Thanks Kelly, I have not wanted to invest in all the foil equipment and had no idea I could use my laminator!!! YAY!!!I can't wait to get some foil and give it a whirl!!! Quick questions, can I go to the copy store and make copies or do you have to foil immediately? And also what kind of tissue paper do you use as the paper cover when foiling?

Great tutorial, never knew how this was done and wow did not think it would be this easy, gotta question, can you only use what you printed or can you also use project life cards you've bought that already has the quote on it also once you've printed it does it have to be foiled right away or can you do it at a later date?

Thanks so much for sharing this tip. I already have a laminator too. ??question?? Is there a time limit on how soon you need to do the foiling after printing. I will need to have my printing done at the office supply store for the laser printing? thanks

Hi Judy, there's no time limit at all. You can foil it whenever you like to. The laminator will heat up the toner ink no matter what so the foil will stick to it when it goes through. =) TFW Hugs

Hi Yvonne, yes tissue paper as in the ones we use to add into gift bags etc hehe. Just make sure it's still smooth and new. Tfw =) hugs

could you something with the foil after you foil it, like maybe laminating it or something or is it to flimsy

You can definitely laminate it. If I don't print on cardstock than I would usually laminate the cards. =)

Thanks Kelly for yet another great tutorial. What is the exact name of the foil if I want to search for it on eBay? I'm from France, I wouldn't know what to ask for in French :-).

Hi, it's a heat activating foil. You can find these at craft supply stores. In the link above it will take you straight to the ebay seller, not sure if they ship international but ask. There's heidi swap brand foils for her minc line as well, you can even get those. Hope this helps. Tfw. Hugs
