Thank you so much for mentioning the classic canvas fix. The latest version of the software is making me bananas with all the bugs, I’m really hoping this tip will help. Always love your videos!

It's a good fix most of the time but it does mean you can't do some things e.g. the copy-and-paste to another project feature doesn't seem to work very often on the "Classic" canvas - but I'll take having a non-buggy (or... less buggy!) version over the copy and paste any day :D

Sarah your tutorial is excellent. You go slow enough so I don't get confused yet fast enough so not to be boring. I don't have a paid subscribtion to Cricut, is there any free multi layers fonts? Thanks

Thank you for your lovely comment! You can turn any font into a layered font by using a free website called "Photopea". I go through how to do that in this video: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-Aew1X428NkU.html

I'm trying to make a double layered cake topper, this tutorial isn't giving me the right information so I'm missing something, is anyone able to help please?

As in so you can see it from both sides? You could Duplicate your finished layers and flip them, but then the letter will be facing the wrong way.

Ah, I called it the wrong thing but thank you so much for your reply. It was actually shadowing so giving a background colour for cake toppers. I watched your video about using photo pea so I just need to get the hang of it. Thank you very much for your help.

I am very new to cricut. I followed your vlog on slicing a heart to put a name in it..you gave great instructions! My question is, in the part where you duplicate the name, my align is grayed out...what am I doing wrong?
@CraftWithSarah
@CraftWithSarah 3 года назад
Have you selected the layers that you would like to align? I think it appears greyed out if you don't have anything selected.

Hi, I have a silhouette will the steps be the or is there a way I can do in design space then save to use in silhouette? Thanks
@CraftWithSarah
@CraftWithSarah 3 года назад
Unfortunately Design Space doesn't let you export your projects for use in other programs :(

Use silhouette to design the project then save as svg and then import to design space
@jessicae7229

Or i believe its even less simple in silhouette. Bc of better tools. Then just cut with silhouette

Would I be able cut this on vinyl?
@CraftWithSarah
@CraftWithSarah 3 года назад
Hmm, I'm not sure. I think you possibly would as it's only three layers so it should layer up ok, but I've not tried layering vinyl before so I can't say for certain.

Thank you Sarah. Sick of the bugginess in this new version.

It is very annoying, isn't it? I saw somewhere that a new version is coming soon that will hopefully fix some of them. Fingers crossed!
