I think the Project 934 RSR Turbo was an outstanding series. These detailing tips are fantastic. We each have some of our own moves, but your steps clearly make things look more realistic on this beauty. Thanks for the step by step walkthrough here. I wish you a really terrific New Year. Hey Andrew, thank you my friend! Happy you enjoyed and happy you saw this one being a Porsche! Looking forward to sending you a care package sometime in 2022! 👊😁👍
Big Thumbs up. Love customizing my di-cast cars I hand paint all my decos. I've gotten better, but still find it hard to paint a perfect circle. never tried the toothpick method. I just cut most of the bristles off my paintbrush to get them thinner. That looks slick. Great job.
I prefer to use the toothpicks also brother, not really isn't finer than a paintbrush, but I also have more control it seems like. That is one badass Porsche brother, your detailing is spot-on and she is beautiful. Excellent job brother.
Love the methods you use, very similar to how I did my 934.5 I did for kingnut. Love the white base to make colors pop better so Definitely gonna do that next time.
Would have never thought, to use toothpicks to paint with, and also, the body lines look great, not overdone. Have been wanting to try my hand at customs, for a few years now! Thanks Derek. 🎨👍🎅✌
Looks amazing! So annoying when Mattel chooses to do detail on models we don't want and not on the ones we do haha. I use the toothpick method as well. I'll have to grab some pens those are fantastic!
Thanks Will! And yeah I agree, some of the best Mattel castings have no tampo work at all (like this 934 RSR). Really a shame but at least its a clean slate for us to play with! 👊😁👍
Hey Honest, I know you customize so I would ask, every once in a while I have a car with package wear, usually on the roof. Is there a good way to polish that out without changing or affecting the original paint? Thanks!
Try using nail polish remover, if there is a livery or tampo on the roof, nail polish remover will remove it so use rubbing alcohol in that case (sometimes rubbing alcohol doesn’t work)
@@mr.redstone1189 Thanks for the reply, so nail polish remover because it will kind of break down the paint and kind of melt it so it becomes smooth again?
