This video was great. This’ll definitely help me with spotting character growth when it’s done the right way. This video was way more helpful than me trying to find results for the differences of development and growth. For some reason the internet thinks they’re always the same thing.
You are so underrated. I suck at writing analytical essays and has ruined my love for writing. But listening to things like this i become inspired and i am better able to understand the stories i read and feel excited when thinking of the potential stories i can tell. Is it possible to talk about expressing thoughts efficently, or not since i feel like thats only a problem with people who have a hard time writing nicely.
Thank you! I'm glad to hear you found some inspiration here. It can be a hard thing to come by, lol. Clearly expressing an idea can definitely be hard. I know I still struggle with it, lol. And there's a certain balance that needs to be struck as well: you need to explain it clearly without overexplaining it. It can help to take a step back or try to assume a different point of view before coming back and reading over what you wrote. Or you can ask someone you trust to read it and give you feedback.
It's criminal you only have 864 subs! I lost the vid and searched for it to find it again, because it explained concepts I haven't heard from other channels. I can vaguely tell I messed up with the core traits but surprisingly only for my main character. All my readers easily got attached to the rest but not her. Would it be too much to ask to check out the 8 chapters I have out so far?

Judging by other videos of yours, I'd recommend Sheev Talks 2-part Clone Wars review and J.J. Plagiarisms channel if yiu're interested and haven't seen them already.
I steer clear of Plagiarisms nowadays due to the controversy surrounding him. And Sheev's review was honestly pretty hit and miss. There are one or two channels out there that have really solid stuff to say across the board (Professor Geek and Magnus Media are the first that come to mind) but they unfortunately don't upload very often...
@@imyouralibi6208 I actually don't watch Plagiarisms, so I had no idea about the controversies. As for Sheev Talks, for the sake of conversation, what were the main good and bad stuff in his review? As for the other content creators you mentioned, were you talking about them in terms of TWC discussions or about their Star Wars content in general?
@@vaggos2003 I only watched Part 1 of Sheev's review so I'll see if I can remember what stood out to me there 🤔 For his good points: He pointed out a lot of continuity errors and retcons that most people miss, so I appreciated that. He also made a lot of good points on the Onderon and Mandalore arcs that I wasn't originally aware of. For his bad points: He made a lot of unfair jabs against the Jedi which soured a lot of the video for me. I also felt he gave Ahsoka's character too much credit. Regarding the other content creators I mentioned, I was referring to their discussions on TCW/Filoni/Ahsoka. My bad for not clarifying, lol 😅

In terms of his unfair jabs against the Jedi, I'm kinda curious what you mean by that, but for a general response, Sheev Talks in general seems to be amongst tge fans who are in favour of the EU idea of the Republic Jedi being at least somewhat politically/morally corrupted or questionable so I guess your thoughts on those jabs will be influenced by your thoughts on that statement. Well, a little birdie told me that you would have major thoughts about Ashoka in the review. Just a little birdie. As for other discussions in regards to Dave Filoni, both Sheev Talks and The S.E.A. have uploaded videos where they talk about him, his reception and the actual quality of his writing. Curious about your thoughts in part 2 of Sheev's TCW review, if off course you wish to check it out.
@@vaggos2003 For unfair jabs at the Jedi: 1. Sheev grossly mischaracterized Windu as "everything wrong with the Jedi". And he gave much the same treatment to Luminara. 2. He blamed the Jedi for not freeing Shmi when Qui-Gon *literally* tried to do exactly that. 3. He claimed the council expelled Ahsoka without a fair trial. That's just plain wrong. 4. He claimed that bureaucrats were puppeteering the Jedi when there was absolutely no evidence of that in TCW. 5. He blamed the Jedi for the death of Rafa and Trace's parents instead of, you know, the criminals who *actually* caused their deaths. There were probably more examples but I can't recall... Oh, yeah, I forgot about The S.E.A.! IIRC, their video on Filoni was pretty good 🤔 I don't plan on watching Part 2 of Sheev's review. While some of his critiques are really good, his bad ones are really, *really* bad. So I'd rather not spend time on such lengthy videos when I know that half of it is going to be really unenjoyable for me.
