Thanks for your question, Viktor. Most people speed up and slow down when the first learning. It's often just a matter of practicing a little every day with a metronome. Choose a speed that you can keep the tempo and then challenge yourself by pushing beyond that.

Hi Shay... Timing and rhythm are very important. Some people have more natural rhythm than others but everyone has to practice to get really good. I'm probably somewhere in the middle. I've improved a lot over the years with practice.

Hi, yes same here but I came up with a simple trick... maybe it might be useful to you. First, learn to play the song well enough so that you can play the whole way through comfortably. Second, introduce humming as you play. If you begin humming the lyrics as simple notes, you don't have to think about words and you can progress to more complex humming later. You might hum and play it for weeks before introducing singing, don't worry how long it takes, just play and hum until you're ready. Or you can do one section of the song at a time if you prefer. Anyway, you'll sound great and confident. All the best.
