Dear sir , can a 12 month old have jittreness . But he also has a developmental delay .However whenever he strikes himself repeatedly with some toy an involuntary jittery movement begins mainly in his right arm .EEG and MRI are normal , other bio chemical tests are normal .Whole exome sequencing results are awaited

Well infants can have jittiriness, the only thing is that the spectrum of causes becomes different. Developmentally delayed children with jittiriness should be worked up for Tay Sachs and hyperekplexia

Yes jitteriness can be cured. You have to find the underlying cause. For example, if there is low glucose, or low calcium as a cause you treat it and the jitteriness should be cured. If no cause is found, still that jitteriness is self limiting and goes by the time baby is 4-6 months old
