Thanks for this! I recently lost one of my cats to a stroke and want to create a memorial garden for her (she’s not buried there) and these are some of the seeds I picked up. This is really helpful info as I don’t normally grow flowers from seeds.

I am very very sorry for you. I know what it feels like to lose a pet, and at this point it's like a family member and it's like losing one of them but even more painful.

Thank you so much for your videos on these. I'm planning to grow some this year and I'm a very visual learner so this was really helpful. :)

Thanks for this. I've always wanted these but never got them to germinate. I'm motivated to try once more.😉

hi! i bought one that was already grown from the store, but a few days later i found there was a big chunk of mold inside of it. i cut the affected stems out and it was doing fine, but it HATES the sun. if it gets even 40 minutes of morning light from the window it begins to wilt and spread out, and i have to baby it and bring the pot into the shade and eventually it springs back to life. it keeps doing this and im thinking its not going to recover this time, and im not sure what to do. im going to try direct sowing some but idk how to save the one i already have :(

Yes they prefer shady spots so sew them where the sun get to the spot latest in the day.

@diantee sookwah Forget me nots are notorious for low germination rate. Mostly it has everything to do with fresher seeds. The fresher the seeds the higher the germination rate will be. I recommend that from the 5 seeds that germinated once they go to flower let them get pollinated & go to seeds & sow again for next season. Those fresh seeds will have a much higher germination rate for you then the ones in the packet. Since 2 factors: 1 being fresh seeds and 2 being acclimated to your climate growing conditions.
