Enabling Gauge Test/Needle Sweep This will sweep the needles of the speedo and rev counter through their full range automatically when you start the engine. [Select] [17 - Instruments] [Coding - 07] [Long Coding Helper] Click on byte 1 and you'll see the selectable option: "Gauge Test/Needle Sweep active" Check this option [Do It!]

Nah just change byte 15 to what was shown or the one in the video info

Could be that you do not have that. Only have this blind cover on your handle.

Of course you will know if you have if you check behind the handles. You could try and start the car with the key back in the trunk. If you manage that you could be having the extra antennas for the keyless entry.

It seems to be like that. So if your instrument cluster software version is too old you can’t disable chime, because you don’t have channel 98. Someone correct me if I’m wrong. Do you have any idea where that buzzer/speaker location is?

I had an A4 and it had a buzzer behind the speedometer. But that buzzer is for other stuff as well.

@@digital_junkie431 adaptation = delete chime when ignition is ON long coding = delete chime when engine ON can you do these separately or does it only work when both are done at same time? For example i want the chime when ignition is on but engine not running, but i dont want the chime when engine is running. can i only do the coding and omit the adaptation part?

Strange. You coud try and jump over the ch98 unput and go direct to long coding bit15 an type in. Just take note of the code before.
