thanks a lot! great demo! I'll never forget this method. I liked the balance of left then right from the same point to allow for symmetry to help correct any inaccuracies

I've repeated the procedure several times, but the result is never 10 equal sections. My last mark at the bottom of the circle, from either side, never lands on 'F'.

I think I can see how to do it with just a compass and straight edge (without the use of a protractor or square) but it would have been nice to illustrate that technique.
