Very cool and I will try this. One suggestion. Sanding and priming the big flat panel with a power palm sander and priming with a roller before the slats goes on is MUCH faster and easier!

Great job. I don't have bi-fold doors to begin with but several years back the space I am designing for did. It houses a washer and dryer today that I want to hide behind doors like those you created. Any insight on how to do this from scratch as if there weren't doors in place to work with?
