The thing i love most about watching your channel is having all these random Japanese products i see daily pop up in your recommendations and it's like a whole new world. I'll be walking around daiso and be like "it's that instant ramen bowl that tima recommended!!" 😂
If it’s possible there is this oil cleanser I’ve had my eye on it’s DHC pore cleansing oil it’s a Japanese brand and I don’t know I’ve been wondering about and I love your review of different products and trust you with you insight on products if it’s possible to give your opinion on it
I've just recently found your channel but I can honestly say you've become one of my favorite creators :) I'm always excited for your videos and re-watch some of my favorite ones. Guilty (and happy!) to say I've made around 4 different orders online with products you've recommended 😅 Every time I watch a new video from you I know I'm adding more products to my wishlist!
I recently found your videos and I enjoyed your content. I just did a DIY sheet mask last night since my skin was getting irritated when I was trying a new product :(. I also used my Avant Guard from Experiment over the DIY sheet mask. It is a silicone reusable mask. I am able to keep the sheet mask on longer on my skin as I am doing other things. Have you every tried the Avant Guard or a silicone reusable mask? I would like to hear your thoughts on it.
I prefer the DIY sheet masking over the traditional one, because I noticed that some things in the ingredient list cause irritation on my skin. I've tried a lot of the traditional sheet masks already, and only the one from Hada Labo (the gokujyun one) and the cica calming mask from VT cosmetics did not irritate my skin. I started doing the DIY sheet masking & it is really more effective for me because I can target certain areas on my face, usually on my chin cause I have hormonal acne there & some redness/irritation on my cheeks, not so much on my forehead. 3-5 minutes are enough. And I don't have to waste the remaining essence, too.
Today I looked at my face with natural lighting and I saw how crazy my cheek area has gotten with pores + small red bumps 😭 my skin was soooo freaking smooth for the majority of summer, tbh I never had bumps near my cheek area, it was just my forehead, I have scars frm acne and small bumps but now I see bumps in my cheek area 😭😭 I used this Aloe Vera gel frm girlpal (they have insta and yt) the day before and I think because of that my skin got random bumps :((( should’ve not used it, for some reason it burns my skin and makes it dry 😔 my school starts in 4 days and when she said it’s due to dehydration I literally gulped down half of the water frm my bottle 🙊 anyways, new sub because I like ur vibe 😊
Can you take alovera gel+Toner+glycerine mix it and store it in a empty jar with cotton pads on it, and use it as “pad toner”😭 Please tell me pleaseee🥺
I've been wanting to get around to sewing my own washable cotton mask with a lot of the same features you mentioned here. I plan to use unbleached natural cotton or silk, or maybe both so it's reversible and I can get both the smoothness of the silk and the ability to hold moisture longer with the cotton. Any tips for me to find a place to start on finding a mask to use as a pattern for a wide face?
I used to use the Daiso masks since they have the ones that come in little cups so you can just put the lotion in the cup- but after watching so many of your videos I started using the Silcot cotton squares since I had bought a pack of 3 sometime last year, but I had only used like half of one box. This is totally one of my favorite steps in my skincare routine!
You just gave me the best solution, lol. I like using my LED mask but my skin ends up feeling dry after even with an extra layer or two of toner, I bet a DIY sheet mask after would be the perfect counter balance. Thank you! ❤
I love watching your videos! I definitely get excited when a new video by you pops up :). After watching your content, I started doing DIY sheet masks with the Rovectin lotus water toner and I love it! I have a bit of irritation from retinol and it really helped to soothe those areas. Thanks so much! Have fun in Japan!
Omg I was going to include it in this video but thought just to mention my ‘most recommended’ haha - so if I can’t access any of these I would still use the MUJI peelable. But I do find them thicker and fluffier so it takes more product to soak, hence I find it a little more wasteful of my toner!
Can this be done everyday? Ive been interested of trying but currious if this can done everyday or is it recommended to do 2-3 times a week? Should've kept watching lol. I got to the point where she says it lol
I bought one box for Christmas. Klairs 2 in 1 ( I used it once but I feel it is cotton pad) I wonder if I bought DIY or a wrong one ? Anyone can inform me, pls ! Thank you ! 🌻🌹❤️🙏
I make DIY sheet masks by soaking cotton pads in a solution of matcha powder and water. I found that this helps to sooth my skin (especially if I have a break out) and helps brighten up and evens my skin tone. I usually break out quite a bit during my period (3-4 new pimples) but using this face mask consistently has actually minimised my break out significantly (1 pimple 😲)! I learnt this from a korean youtuber who used this to help clear her acne!
honest opinion, i dont see how a cotton would help the toner absorb better than applying it normally. but it does look fun and makes me feel like im pampering myself!
