Absolutely genius! Just what I needed for my teenager and I on our ISUP and for my hubby’s kayak. Perfect for when you just want to take a break in the shade for a few minutes and not drift back into the sunlight!
Great tutorial and great idea. Just kick it over. Works for many locations but not the tree and rock infested lake bottoms where I am. Stuck with a danforth or one of those grapplers (set up correctly). I will definitely rig it thinking of just kicking it over like you suggested . : - )
It's the extra step I'm avoiding while fishing which can make a difference between spooking the fish or catching it. Depth is another concern if you are not fishing. Bottom material:: if its hard you will loose balance trying to push it in..
I go with 1/2" ropes.. too small it shard to grab with you hands when its' wet. I like yellow because it's high visibility the poly ....makes is floats so if it even comes off you can find it.
