Alternative Title: "How to not spend 30 minutes trying to kill 1 boss"

1.) When upgrading artifacts, focus on having one character as your main dps (I used MC). 2.) Focus as much as you can with atk, crit dmg and crit rate. 3.) Upgrade said artifacts to at least lvl 8 until you get a 4 or 5 start version. 4.) *DON’T FORGET TO UPGRADE TALENTS* 5.) Elemental reactions do the biggest damage.

I think the most important part to take away from this is from the beginning: Don't be afraid to upgrade, you can recycle it for the next bit without a too big loss.

Basically, 1. Choose which artifacts are best for the characters and upgrade them. 2. Level up your talents 3. Choose which weapons is the best for the characters then Upgrade them 4. Take advantage of the elemental reactions (melt, vaporize, superconduct, overload) Bonus tip: at an early level, start farming for ascension materials and talent books. Hope i helped someone. :>

My tips for beggining players!: -try to get a lots of crit rate/crit dmg. I prefer to have at least 40% crit rate, 100 %crit dmg (don't worry too much abt this stats at low ar, later they will be important though) - use the right element cup on your character (pyro character- pyro dmg bonus cup), or physical dmg bonus if you build them like that. -Try to get to know characters best main stats for artifacts (example: Qiqi has more healing from her atk) - if you don't have right substats for particular set, use some other, neutral set with good substats (til you get better artifacts) -Elemental reactions help a lot! Try to use: -pyro+cryo or hydro -hydro+ electro or pyro OR cryo (for freeze) -electro+ pyro or cryo

A tip for begginers is focus on MC. They're really good for fighting as Anemo at the begining, later on dendro is going to be more useful when you have more other characters to support that. Geo is the best for exploration in Liyue because you need it to access some of the geocolous. So focus on building your Anemo mc at the beginning! It's going to be worth it!

"How to get stronger: level up." Wow, I never considered leveling up in an RPG. Tell me more..

To put this simple for everyone reading the comments 1: Get artifacts and use those to experiment with sets such as adventurer, berserker, Travelling doctor ects. 2: Keep upgrading the artifacts used in your set or should I say, Build, So you can get better results and attempt to get more better artifacts for better set and builds 3: Make sure you know the description and stats of each of your party members so you can maximize your build for them, Though it's optional but it's recommended to give out the best results for your party members 4: Weapons is somewhat optional but encouraged, It's a important part since that's a big part of your damage is coming from. Though if you only want damage thats enough to kill any weapon should suffice As for my personal preference, Don't get overwhelmed too much by building your character, Start small with simple weapons and simple sets such as adventurer and berserker, Building is rather simple once you get the hang of it. It's just very exaggerated due to modern terminologies of seasoned players.

This really helped, before I was doing shit damage but now I’m doing slightly less shit damage!

I just started playing genshin impact last week and then I got Jean on my first wish. I really want to main her before I play genshin. My AR is 26 and my Jean is already level 50. Her base attack is 856, hp is 15.9k and she does 2.8k-3k damage. I also upgraded the prototype rancour for her to level 50. I watch your videos and I follow your tips. I level up all of my artifacts on my main and to the other characters that I always use for fighting bosses. The earlier you focus on artifacts, the better you will do on the end game. i came back here just so i can say thank you for helping me 1 year ago i had no clue how to build characters and do damage you helped me alot back there my fischl whent from 500 to 1600 damage if this video didnt exist i could never make it through, im a hu tao main now doing 15-30k charges but still miss the old times so once again. thank you very much

Small tip: DON'T NEGLECT ARTIFACT MERCHANTS. Every city has a merchant who sells cheap worthless artifacts. In most cases you wouldn't bat an eye. But that's free xp every day and they cost little to nothing. So stock up and stack em up

this video is genuinely helpful, i was trying to avoid leveling up my artifacts because they were going to be replaced but now im doing a lot better with the extra damage!

I vaguely knew about all this, but seeing it all spelled out so nicely increased my attack from 50 to 250!

TLDR: firstly, focus on one character to carry you. level the shit out of ur blue and purple artifacts early on, choose weapons with damage buffs even if they have lower attack than other weapons. When you reach adventure rank 25 and ascend to ascension 2, level the shit out of ur basic attacks. Focus on leveling 1 character to carry you

one tip to increase ur damage: turn ur game voice to japanese

1. Level your artifacts 2. Level up your talents 3. Level up your characters 4. Level up your weapon 5. Give your characters weapons and artifacts according to their element and how you wanna build them 6. Use character elemental and e skills for buffs 7. Try using a team with elements compatiable with each other like electro+cryo, pyro+cryo etc etc 8. Use four piece or two piece artfact sets for bonus atack like blizzard slayer 2 piece gives 15+ more cryo damage.

i feel like you can explain these kinds of things very well for new players because i started like 3 days ago and i am having some trouble with artifacts and dmg but i feel that this video is going to help me :)

This has been the most useful tutorial ive ever recieved on youtube. despite being made about more than 1 year ago, Ive been able to incresae my charged attacks form 250 to 5000 in a few months. I doubt it at first, but I credit you because of my damage boost

Remember to only level artifacts on one character, when they're all maxed start gearing a second character. Otherwise, you're gonna run out of resources fast.

Quick note about something at the end: elemental mastery only increases damage dealt by elemental reactions, not the elemental abilities themselves. EM is useful for reaction characters like burst or enablers, definetly not the main DPS. I guess you know it already but since its said in a really vague way in the video people may think that EM increases elemental damage. Edit: im not the best one to ask for knowledge, i just know how certain mechanics work. If you have questions about teamcomps, character building and such, i'd suggest to ask people who actualy know.

Chongyun's elemental skill increases attack speed by 8% I want to get the artifact set that reduces your stamina cost to 0 for 10 seconds after killing an enemy and increases charged attack damage by 50% With his charged spin that never runs out. It's going to be NUTTY.

Having check a lot of people doing Genshin vids, Have to say, about increasing damage output, this one is on top for me! Explaining artifacts, weapons and talents, as well as showing the difference of early dmg to your end dmg, excellent way for us to see the differences! Great job sir!

I just wanted to say thank you, I know this video is three years old so you probably won't see this but I've been quest stuck because I was to weak to defeat a boss and couldn't figure out why I couldn't get stronger and I decided youtube w as the option and this was the second video I watched and the most helpful. I have since beaten said boss and more or less times my damage by probably 7 or 8. This is the best way anyone could explain this and I appreciate it.

Another quick tip for AR 35-40 players- level up you main dps to max, it will help you to fight higher domain levels and will increase your chance of getting good artifacts
