I still hate the artifact system more then anything, it's the greates reason i've partialy quit genshin, i stoped doing dailies and artifact farming and only come back for greats events and new regions becouse after 1 year of artifact farming i couldn't reach 70% crit rate with diluc, and crit is his ascention stat.
@@md.abdullahalnafi8372 Even thogh some effects go trough shields, like corrosion, his shield still tanks the actual attacks, not only that, he reduces enemies resistence to all types of damege, being probably the most reliable damege buff in the game that works for everyone: hu tao can't use bennet's ult couse it heals her and yelan's skill and burst only scale with hp, so his not only increases your survivability, but also your damege in the most consistent way of the game, and it stacks with superconduct and verdecent set, so he can work in literaly any teamcomp, and if it ends up bad, that's not zhongli's fault.
I really like watching things like this even though I’m AR57 and grinds artifacts like a madman. I feel like I’m remembering the days where I thought Xinyan would be valuable at C2.
Bro I'm AR 51 and this helps me because I don't spend a lot on talents, but I have a lot resources for talents but I haven't used them all, my main squad talents are at 4, 5, and 6
I'm mostly F2P and I do like 20-30k dps without buffs with a single character. I don't think any of the tips apply to me much. This video is still fun though.
I forgot how long ago was it, but when I first started on Genshin, I was embarrassed if I'm doing well or not in front of my friends' eyes (even if I was just a newbie that time lol). I had to go through RU-vid looking for a good beginner's guide in playing in Genshin. Then I found one of your old guide videos. I watched it, and kept your tips in mind as I progressed. Now I can do fights independently instead of asking friends to baby me thanks to your suggestions on how to manage my account better and building characters. Now I have a friend who is new to Genshin, who is asking me how to manage their account. And seeing this video makes me know once again you'll be helping me (and now my friend) on how to make their account better. Thanks so much ✨
yeah I kinda have the opposite story, I followed his guide and made my account good and he kinda rage quit cause he was doing no damage and when i tried to help him he said that it would take him too long
Hi can someone answer me this plz. If I want to reroll is it possible to reroll 20 accounts now and save the accounts and wait for the right banner to use them ? Or will my rerolls accounts I saved for will be deleted by mihoyo if i don't log in for 2-3 months?
For those watching this and thinking that it's going to be a lot of work until you have a viable team, don't stress too much. Genshin is a very easy game for the most part so even if you've got mediocre artifacts, a few talent levels and average weapons you can still do everything other than maybe a full abyss clear. The key thing to take away is making sure your team comp is solid, you build characters with stats that benefit them, and that you invest what you can in the right talents. A little goes a long way and once you have a good team then you can only go up from there.
You are absolutely right man. I remember struggling in Dragonspine wanting to complete that challenge for the Shard and i was so desperate, didnt know you can get help in co-op for these kind of things, and i was so happy when i finally did it myself, i almost soloed everything till like AR50 when some bosses were too strong or me finding out i didnt invest in the right teams when i definetly had the characters but lacked the knowledge(Benny being the second character pulled and prioritized amber cause of the charged fire attack LOL). this game is really easy and just some of the challenges are annoying ( thats why they called challenges :D ) and even if you build your chars wrong, its possible to fix that with time and the right approach. The people like Mtash are a blessing to new players because they want you to avoid the struggle in the late game and its simply not fun anymore if you will have to start a new account with of course different RGN and random characters.
Most importantly, play how you like as well. Enjoyment will easily plateau if you go for the best and only the best and then don't know what to do next.
right about most this but not 100%. this game is only easy when you got things maxed. You baiscally need high talent levels to beat abyss (plus they are garunteed upgrades. a few isnt enough). also for average weapons and artifacts, you still have to pick the right weapons from the ones you have. you can use sacrificial sword on ayato because that is the only one you got (you can get some better weapons like craftables or blackcliff if you got no other options) and correct artifact stats

Its weird that I used to watch these types of videos when I started playing Genshin and didn't know anything, now I'm AR57 and literally get everything he's saying.
one thing to note is that many people that spend thousands on the game still use certain 4* characters or weapons in their team. Not everything has to be money gated.
Would you still recommend this game to new players? I’m really interested in starting and i don’t mind the grind that much but the amount of negative stuff i read on the internet about GI is just making me question the decision to try it out.
@@lifequality tbf it’s still a good game regardless of the dogshit amount of issues with it, cuz you probably won’t be bothered by a fair few of the issues until late game
@@lifequality the game is amazing….it wouldn’t be talked about so much if it wasn’t a great game, it does become sort of a chore when you’re at endgame but it takes a while to get there and even then if you play other games alongside it that chore feeling goes away
This is very nostalgic for me. I remembered starting genshin back when it was first released and I had no Idea what I was doing and decided to look at guides and Mtashed video was the first one that I watched and after everything and being already ar55 seeing the same vid (upadated) that helped me get better from the start brings back memories.
Another tip I'd like to give y'all (if u have time of course) is artifact routes. It won't increase ur dmg directly. But by doing the routes u gain a lot of artifacts xp and u can lvl more artifacts to lvl 4 and unlock their 4th substat. Also the artifacts u get by doing domains only is not enough to lvl 20 one artifact daily so that's a li'l boost as well. Still let's say you don't need artifact xp, u sell them for mora. U can get like 60k mora per day this way. At 1st it might take u like 20-25 min per day, but after a week, it'll go down to 12-15 mins a day.
This is the rerun of the greatest genshin video made by Mtashed. When I was a new player I didn't know what I was doing. Genshin also was my first gacha so I was clueless. Tash man really raised me up in genshin. New players make sure to follow these tips.
I was on an on and off again player for genshin since it came out. The past few months I’ve been hitting the grind. Picked my favourites. I sort of picked like 8 tho… out of 25. Progress in my eyes. I’m at AR 45 as of yesterday. Still hitting mid numbers, but I’m working so hard now lol. One of the things I’ve always wanted is to do is to be a player who does an insane amount of dmg. I really can’t wait until then. Patience has been tough. Anyways, good luck to those who are in the same boat. You got this!
I’ve watched your stuff for a while and I really dig it, and I’ve picked up pretty much all of these tips already because I play this game a lot, but the way you break it down so cleanly and clearly is fantastic. I’m going to send to anyone who asks me how to get good at Genshin.
Things you can reliably control for more damage: Leveling up characters, leveling up talents, the catch for Xialing, food and potions. Things you can’t control: Good rolls for characters and supports, team compositions (if you don’t have the supports), good artifacts, good non f2p weapons.
I didn't played genshin for a long time when I returned I was overwhelmed by the content in tha game I was on ar 42 cuz I wanted to get to inazuma and had to level up my characters thank you daddy tash
I remember when I just started playing genshin and watched his first vid on how to deal more damage, that was really helpful and informative and I'm still thankful for that
I've been AR 60 for a long time now and I didn't even know that colored particles give MORE energy to the specific element that the color belongs to. Thanks for the video.
this reminded me the times that i was worried sick about if i’m doing it right, doing it optimally and constantly asking my higher ar friends about my team comps/artifacts, now i’m ar56 and i can finally get everything by myself, especially the logic behind it. thank you!
First of all; i've never commented on a RU-vid video before. Secondly; I stumbled upon this video having long since stopped playing Genshin and remembered how crap my account was and how grindy it seemed to be pushing through content. I redownloaded the game after watching, implimented everything in this video and... man what a difference. 10x (literally) DPS, 10x survivability, cleared 3 extra floors of Spiral Abyss 9* all of them, able to beat the Wolf and trounce domains and the game feels soooo much more fun to play. Last of all; I had to try and find this video again just so I could comment on it and give it a like. Thanks for the amazing content, your guides really communicate super well. Keep it up
being AR59, i still enjoyed this video a lot and watched all the way through. ty for the refreshers tashed man! i wish i had this guide when i first started off.
I'm a stone throw away from AR 60 still listening to Mtashed damage increase vids. Thank you for reminding me that I genuinely neglect talents on a regular basis
just found this video and wanna say THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR THE DETAILED EXPLANATION. I've been playing genshin for about 3 months and got to ar50+ really quickly, but I don't have enough materials to level up my characters, so I'm stuck with world level 5, bc most of my characters (i made a mistake and as you said tried to level up all of them) are lvl 70, but the bosses are supposed to be 80-90+.. Also, thanks for giving the directions for talents/weapons prioritizing etc. it's really helpful and even if I've been playing the game for a couple of months and opened the whole map/saw almost all world/archon quests, I'm still confused on what to do with my account and characters bc the damage I deal is low.
man this brings back when we all were new to the game and learning how to be effecient at the game as a community. It doesnt hit the same now. It was a really good vid on your behalf mtashed but obvs wont get the same response as say your old guide vids. But hopefully this helps out newer players and returning players once sumeru comes out.
Just to be clear the damage increase from elemental mastery to vaporize and melt is additive to other damage increases like elemental damage bonus. It doesn’t increase the mutiplicitive bonus melt or vaporize give.
The rumor for the artifact strongbox doesn't include every single artifact set, but it does include quite a few. We're going from like 4 options to 15. Newer ones are excluded
Ah your first guide vids is how I found you, they helped me immensely. Glad you've done a new one for newer players. One thing I found, one account I left at ar50 just to doss about in, and it's very rare to get 5 star artifacts from boss drops like in the early days. Don't know why they changed that. Think it was around when inazuma dropped. New sumuru trailer just dropped, 🤗
Didn't realize there was a recommended talent level up. Thanks, Mtashed. I was just trying to level talents across the board and didn't think of any level of specialization. I agree with the levelling of characters. At e.g., AR 56, you have no choice. You're at World Tier 7 at a minimum (level 80+ enemies). You either get your character to 70-80 or you cannot deploy them in any situation where they will take damage because they'll die too quickly. Been looking for a guide like this because at AR 56 I'm teetering on the edge of "should I bother going to level 90" with characters and weapons because I just cannot seem to beat the timed challenges, like Temple Inquiry or Serpent's Heart inquiry. I figured it was talents and maybe levelling to 90 (all my characters are at 80 right now).
Great guide. I made the mistake of leveling up a lot of my characters, because knowing you needed two teams for abyss. So now I'm playing catch up, my world level is too high and barely getting by in domains needing food buffs
Hi mtashed, dont know if you read comments but if you do i just want to let you know that im an AR 58 f2p diluc main player and you are actually the first genshin youtuber i ever watched and you helped me understand the game when i just started, so thank you so much i love your videos and wish you a very good day!
Thank you for this video. I learned something new about about absorbing energy particles and better team comp reactions, everything else I've been trying to explain to friends that play so ion have to help them beat bosses all the time lol. This was perfectly explained. Right on time for new players and Sumaru update.
10:16 Correction, Mtashy here tough Baal was a sup when she was first released because he tought that's what archons were supposed to be because zhong and venti, you can even go back and watch him being confused on how her kit overall works, Baal was always supposed to be a sub-dps or dps
I have an AR 60 account and an f2p AR 58 account. If you are a new player, this is going to be extremely useful. I will be sure to recommend this to beginning players. Good job Mtashed
I got hutao in her last banner and still to this day grinding for her artifacts and i dont plan on stopping My ratio for her is around 64/218 but that crit does come from a white tassel thus the non stop arti domain ive been doing the excess artifacts i get will go to other characters that im planning to use ( im doing shimi btw cuz hoyoverse said they plan on adding all existing artis to the arti exchange thingy )
Dps mostly need their signature weapon support mostly need zheir stigmata set, you can do custom builds but it can be really confusing. No need to minmax affixes they will only give about 3-4% of your dps. Elemental carries can't crit, you will have to rely on one of the two support fu hua suits and hopefully get a specific elemental support for your dps, for example Raven for fire, Haxxor Bunny for ice. The best elemental dps-es are the newest kiana herrscher suit, the raiden herrscher suit, and the ice dps rita suit, for f2p the best opions are getting one of the upper mentioned or using shadow knight as an electro dps, she can shread bosses like they were salad. Phys dps-es can crit, they are more rate hungry rather damage hungry, you will need to apply bleed and impair to the enemies, and find some good rotations. The best phys supports are griseo and starlit astrologos for f2p and save for herrscher fu hua, because she is the best support in the entire game, and also the best dps sometimes. The best actual dps-es from the phys side of the valkyras are the newest dudu suit, elysia and the upper mentioned senti fu hua. Look out for stage weathers and enemy resistances. GLHF!
That’s why I’m just farming the eos and shim domain so I can work on getting good stuff for shenhe, xiangling, xingqiu and Raiden while saving th bad stuff for when 3.0 drops so I can try to get a Dendro cup
@@awhora3454 good plan, can't really go wrong with those sets. I've been pushing the artifact limit for a while, so I'm pretty well set when 3.0 drops.
This is 🔥🔥 this is definitely what everybody needs to hear and it's very straightforward. I know a lot of players who have a lot of five stars and we're not able to complete the Abyss.
I did what mtashed said on his last video about how to make you account stronger, and it really follow through, everything is so easy, i may not have perfect ratios and artifacts, but the way my razor carried me all the way to the newest content is because of the tash man's advices
I love watching these types of videos because even though I'm at F2P AR59 on my account, I'm able to look at this and remind myself on how to do things properly. Thankyou for this!
Before my brother left Genshin, he gave me his account. I caught his mistake of leveling every single character he gets. I made this mistake too. I'm still fixing this account but I made Eula 70 and Zhongli 70 through my attempt at repairing it.
I know it's an old vid, but I've just got here :) I love the game but I don't have a lot of time to play it so your guide is very handy to me... and what is more important: I like the way you give advices: in so enthusiastic and fun-seeker way... a rarity amidst all those videos that goes "You are doing this wrong" or "if your account is like this, restart". So thank you sir :)
This is the video I’ve needed for so long!!! I’m ftp and try to play as often as I can. Looked for videos to help build my units but found bugger all that was helpful until this one ⭐️😊
Great guide, but imo when you explained about the artifact's stat rolls you should show some illustrations or even texts to better visualize what you are talking about. If I'm a newbie I'm not sure if I can really understand that section.
For a new player, you get Favonius Warbow and Prototype Rancour early on, then Snow-tombed Starsilver and Dragonspine Spear from Dragonspine. Once you get to Inazuma you can get Cursed Blade and The Catch. Any other permanent free 4* options, besides crafting?
I just want to tell you to keep up the good work MTashed. Im AR60 in genshin 36* the abyss but still watched your video beginning to end it was very good.
I started playing genshin 2 months ago… and i’m already AR 44… i want to do more DMG but I really have no clue how to anymore… because i can’t defeat lvl 80/90 domains because i don’t do enough damage… i’m really starting to think it’s because of my team… but anyway, if you ever read this comment (or anyone in general) who could give me a tip, it would be much appreciated!!
@@justsomeguywithoutabeard8306 While that's true, I still recommend Levelling up Normal Attack to 6 along with everything else. It's a low cost investment with a worthwhile return.
Hello sir. Please tell me this if I am doing correct 1. Character Level Up 2. Weapons Level Up 3. Talent Level Up 4. Artifacts Level Up (Attack, CRIT damage, CRIT Rate) Thank you❤
I really need you to understand Mtashed, you helped me with putting my resources in the right places and my account is so much better for it. I appreciate everything you do and please don't stop posting. You're a game charger
