How to Do WAY more damage in the first Descendant using the proper mods for your weapons! MAIN CHANNEL | / mtashed TWITTER | / mtashed TWITCH | / mtashed INSTAGRAM | / mtashed
I was coming here to say this actually, as well as it makes sense that it's not calculating that. It's giving you what will happen if you just hit the target. You're not always going to hit the weak point. And you're not always going to crit
Yup was going to mention the same, also when you use tab or click left bottom icon in mod section of the weapon you can see all changes applied . In default character view there is "go to info" as well that has most detailed information of exact multipliers for descendants mods and weapons
Tbh I was going to start criticizing on how would you think that if it's a weapon mod, but I come from Warframe so I have experience with this system, and thinking about it, I kinda get why someone would think the elemental mods apply to your skills if its your first game like this. Ngl this video can really help someone starting out.
It's understandable how you would get this confused. The skill element modules are actually equipped to your descendant and they will specifically say as much.
Just dont tell this to WF player...... TFS is WF, but better with minimal bugs, its fun and the developers dont hate their fanbase.....hastag Rethalius did nothing wrong!!!
@@cjerp obviously First Decendant Warframe is no where near clunky its movement is really well designed and is one of the appeals of the game. It also has a rich story full of lore and unique quest, so far in First Decendant ive done the same 4 missions on repeat and im half way through the campaign… Warframes prices are questionable but the game has trading so it balances out. It just feels like a straight up Warframe clone the modding, farming methods, and even some characters why play this when Warframe exist? It provides nothing we havent already seen.
I would personally say that adding more damage in some way is going to be better than fire rate bonuses until later. Fire rate may give you more damage per second, but it isn't going to improve your damage per reload or damage before you run out of ammo, which can happen in some of the harder fights if you don't have enough damage as a whole team. Very good points other than that, though
Also to mention, you can roll firearm attack as one of typically 4 perks on your weapon. If you have a lot of tuning resources it doesn't hurt to roll and then hold some firearm attack% bonuses. Flat damage bonuses are nice but the % bonuses will always scale exponentially as you lvl up.
Bro..This video slaps. Thank you so much for taking us to class. Going back through my setups when I get off work. This game has actually been such a blast combat wise.
Thanks for explaining this so simply . I knew rifling reinforcement was good, but didn’t know how monumentally important base firearm damage was to doing damage in the game . Thanks for this !
Wasn't expecting the Tash man to cover this game but im so glad he is, since I also gravitated to this. Super fun game hope he makes some crazy cool guides and builds with big numbers lol
Great video man. I already understood modules fairly well, but didn't know that you could reset your descendant and then halving the cost of a certain module. Pretty cool.
BTW if you upgrade a Descentant, Transcendent Module (the red ones) it will lower the mod capacity of that of that mod by one for each upgrade. Therefore making the transcendent mod using less capacity.
Dude thank you so much for this, I'm at hagios and was starting to feel underleveled and not doing enough damage and becoming a liability to any group i enter, but after this video im suddenty doing like 10x the damage, suddenly i can actually down the shields of colossi. thank you mtashed
Your explanations for everything is very clear and precise thank you brother making me learn this game so easily. I’m working too much and gettin older don’t have time to grind anymore lmao 🤣🤝🏽
This is very good advice, really thank you. I was trying to add a little bit of everything, ranking every mod point by point trying to fit a little bit of everything, and I did notice that wasn't working. I was building up to Critical Chance, Critical Damage, Attack, and 2 Elemental Attack, in most cases I could fit 5 or 6 mods, but I felt almost no difference. I'll follow your advice, ranking up the basic attack as high as possible right away, and then going to work on Fire Rate UP (I don't think it would be good for Sniper, Scout, ELauncher, and Shotgun), and then Elemental. For all machine guns I'll go for +Attack, +Fire Rate, and +Elemental, and for others will be +Attack and + 2 Elementals.
we gotta get this man away from gacha games,, people complaining about the monetisation in this game at least you get what you paid for,, of course unless the calibre fails to deliver lol
@@Thenlar yes you can, at least if you mix some of the purple and blue elemental mods together edit: i was wrong, seems the purple elemental mods only boost the elemental damage that you get from the blue mods, they cant add the damage itself. i think you can still get two elements on if you have one from the readjustment process though
As a complete bum at these types of games, I wholeheartedly appreciate videos like this. It makes so much sense the way you explained it. I have some work to do when i get off work this morning lol. Thank you sir! You earned a follow for this one
Thank you so much for this explanation on mods, i was having such a hard time and your video made it far more easier to understand so now i can have more fun when i play.
Quick question how many energy activators can be used on a weapons and descendents I just finished the story and got a 2nd one for free and don't know if I should use it on bunny again or a weapon
The tashman...ive been min/maxing and ive been noticing these things as well. kinda ticked me off when i realized i got rid of some mods that were actually benefitting my build, i spend a little more time analyzing my setup now so that i dont miss out again. this is an importand vid, appreciate you brother!
Thank you, I'm new and was thinking that about elemental mods that they mainly buffed preexisting elements n what not...I most definitely wasted currency on pointless shit but thanks to you I now realize the better path to take... earned my sub
I think a thing of note here too, not all guns are created equally. Some mods will benefit very little/almost not at all from Crit mods, and other from Weakpoint mods. All the the mods are multiplying your base value, if you have a base value of 1% crit. You can have a 100% crit mod, but that weapon will still only have 2% crit. Same goes for fire rate too, you can add a fire rate mod to a slow sniper but that isn't gonna do very much even though the tooltip will absolute say you just increased your DPS by a ton. The better the base stats of your weapon, the more you should focus on that attribute, and prioritize that one and in some cases just avoid certain attributes as investing in 1% base crit isn't worth it.
Yeah, but that's (unless if I'm mistaken) adding to the recoil, not reducing it. So you're doing more damage, but potentially missing more shots if you can't control the recoil well enough.
I noticed that the Sheet DPS is different when looking at the weapon in inventory and one of the screens in modules/info will show a different number (difference is 75k and 100k dps. Any insight into that?)
and in case you forget ,you can slot a rune in your gun , so the mods cost a halfcut , but need max gun level and a rare material to do so ,so even more moduls
In Warframe terms, a “Rune” for me is called a “Forma” And the system for “Forma” is the Literally memorizable and easy to do. So maybe consider naming it “ Forma” after ppl get used to it
@@infwarriorofshadows5897bro if u played warframe you should understand he's talking about "forma" even tho he wrote rune which is accurate for the game...
I heard the "forma" only applies to that specific gun so you gonna have to keep leveling it as you go thru the game. I want to do it but its too early for me and I cant grind for those things yet
Stupid question, my thunder cage has 9 slots vs the 10 it should have. How do I get that last slot? I've asked discord but they are more focused on begging for Pyro boss help than anything else. Thanks.
Does the elemental damage also get multiplied by crit/weakpoint effects? Might be a silly question, but I've played games where attribute additions like this aren't affected by multipliers
You can actually mark the slots for a certain brand of mod which decreases by a percentage of the the overall points used for that slot just like warframe. Therefore you can use more mods
just an fyi, the slow art module gives such high dps compared to rifling reinforcement, so your best lineup is slow art, rifling reinforcement, fire rate up, and elemental atk increase
