After trying to do a burnout in my 2019 Chevrolet Silverado, I couldn't understand why the 5.3L V8 couldn't get the job done. I started playing around with the traction control and learned a trick to help the Silverado perform a burnout. This procedure works to turn stabiltrak on a 18 silverado as well I always thought just push it off and you was good to go but nah holding it in shuts down the stabiltrak too thank u for this

Gee, Thanks Kevin. I've got a 17 Silverado and just went outside and tried it. It works the same way. I wish I new this last year right before I put a new set of tires on my truck. I would've melted the old one in the tire stores parking lot! But hey, it's only Money.

Question, may sound stupid, I get the part where you turn traction cont off.. but how do you burn out? I always thought hold the break then step on gas? Then slowly let go of the break?

@keva.6045 I am trying to get back into the right headspace to start making videos again. I appreciate your support and encouragement. As far as ls vs lt it's going depend on what you want your truck to do. An ls is more affordable and if you go with a 6.2 ls you can definitely make a good bit of power. Make sure you put a good quality set of hydraulic lifters if you go ls. LT is newer of course and it's biggest quality I'd better fuel economy.

It has stock pipes but a custom bullet style muffler from a local shop. Inman Muffler Shop. It has a nice v8 rumble and some crackles when coasting. It sounds great in person.

I keep seeing reliability issues, mainly overheating, pop up with 3.0 diesel. How is yours holding up?
